Omiro? I searched it and found a few different things. One had to do with mirror tiles and bath fixtures and another one with an actor, etc.

              Omiro?.

Possibly but having searched google images with that name, nothing similar comes up with that signature or anything resembling the ornament. hmmm..... But thank you and everyone else for looking and for your suggestions / feedback.

Could it be the title of the work? "Iro" in japanese means color, and color means many things. http://japanvisitor.blogspot.com/2009/05/color-iro.html?m=1 The "Om" could be: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Om Looks like the Lady is leaning on an alter or balcony deep in thought or prayer. Peace and Love! *hope you find your answer!

Hi, Miró is the name of a group of sculptors who got together to create sculptures inspired by the works of Spanish artist/sculptor Josep Bofill. The period these sculptors focused on was 1980 - 1987. A series of these sculptures were released in the 1990s as limited editions of 3999. They are bronze plated and sometimes situated on resin. They are typically just under or slightly over 12 inches (30.48 cm) in height, some taller. These sculptures are not reproductions of Bofill's works, they are originals based on Bofill's conceptual ideals from the above noted time period. Prices typically run from as little as $50. to as high as $350. depending upon condition, where and when purchased, etc. I hope this helps. Anita

THANK YOU, (((((PAUL)))))!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Hi, No, completely different/separate Spanish painter/sculptor. Often this series of sculptures are inaccurately described as reproductions of Joan Miró's works. Anita To those reading along in this thread, please excuse the following off topic commentary, must write that this is your best avatar ever, hey_kittay! Being the John fan that you are, you should consider keeping this one permanently - it is purrrfect! Being a lover of Siamese cats, I have always LOVED this picture and feel it shows the gentle side of John beautifully. ♥ Really nice to see this one as an avatar!

Kestrel: so happy you found the artist(s) of your lovely piece. It really is very beautiful, especially when you zoom in on it, very detailed. Anita: thank you for the words my new John avatar. I will keep it. It reminds me of what I feel was John's true persona behind the tough guy image he could portray. So sweet. Have a great day ALL!

That C could be A. Antoni Miró. It looks like one of his marmolina pieces.
