I wonder what type of seats they are. I don't want to take a day off from work if they are 200 or 300 level seats.
Wow so you'd turn away FREE tickets for not being good enough. :
Yes. If I had to drive 300 miles round trip and have to lose a day's pay. Why is that a problem?

No problem. Just find it surprising.

Well... here's my thinking. Back in 1990, I went to my first show. I was seated in the second to last row of the bleachers in Rupp Arena. Ultra nose bleed. In fact, a man in the LAST row of bleachers made the comment, "If Jesus Christ comes back tonight, we'll be the first to know." But... I didn't care. I was in the same building as THE MAN. I was listening to and seeing him (barely) LIVE. It was FANTASTIC! Fast forward many years... I am older. I have a little more money to pay for better seats. So I have had the privilege to see THE MAN again, a few times, at 1st and floor level. I am blessed to be able to do so. So... I think back to the poor 20 year-old who could barely afford the $60 nosebleed ticket in 1990, who was absolutely THRILLED just to be there. If the free tickets are in an upper level, I would much rather have someone who's never had the opportunity to see Paul live have those. However........... if they are awesome floor or 1st level seats...... greedy girl says MINE.... all mine!!!

I'd check with admin http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=25 I'd say they're waiting 'til all the presales are over before they start the lottery comp!

The terms and conditions only list gigs which took place in 2014, so maybe this promotion doesn't apply to the new 2015 dates?

Hi, Welcome to the message board! The Out There ticket lottery promotion period ran from July 2014 through November 2014. There is no word yet as to whether the ticket lottery will resume in 2015. There were specific terms and conditions with limitations as to whom could enter. Those terms and conditions may be found here: http://www.crowdsurge.com/terms/paulmccartney/ Fingers crossed for a 2015 ticket lottery! Anita
