I assume Nancy sits in the first row. Has anyone ever seen her? I have tickets for 2nd row center for the two D.C. shows. I am wondering who will be sitting in front of me!

I have never seen Nancy in the front row. I am not sure where she sits. The front row center seats will have the people who get upgraded from seats up top. Usually they are young people...not always just women, as some think. I have seen guys upgraded and also have seen a parent and teen daughter upgraded.

A friend of mine saw her and her seats were in the center, but further back than my friend! She was with her son, Arlen, and a friend of his.

In Atlanta it was all young, attractive male/female couples in rows 1 and 2 in the center. I was directly behind in row 3. And the guy in front of me was about 6'3"!! At one point I actually asked them to separate so I could get a decent pic of Paul without his big head in the way!

She was at the Fresno concert that I attended. When Paul mentioned that she was in the audience, he gestured in the general direction of the sound engineer platform area. I would think that she would want to be as inobtrusive as possible.

You know what's funny? I think HM used to always watch from the wings (no pun intended!) and not from a regular audience seat. Does anybody know for sure? I seem to remember one concert video where she was standing off to the side between the fence and the stage.

I saw Nancy in Chicago & she was in a regular seat about 20-25 rows back. We had a video of her dancing & singing along while in the audience. Here...I found it!

I saw her once in the pit between the front row and the stage. also once saw her being escorted to a seat in the lower level by the stage just before a concert began. and someone i know saw her in a floor seat at the end of the same row, which I thunk was about row 7.

Wow, that is so cool that Nancy sits in a regular seating area! It would be quite a shock to find her as your seat mate.

The average concert goer doesn't seem to recognize her, as she keeps a low profile. She was greeting people (she seemed to have known them) right in front of us at Penn State last year, about 10-11 rows from the stage. No one around us realized it was her, or at least didn't make anything of it, and we respected her privacy and just smiled treating her as any other concert goer. After she walked away, we told the guy beside us that she was Paul's wife, he was blown away and didn't believe it!

So I guess that if I did happen to see her, it would not be cool to ask her to sign my program.

I personally wouldn't. Nothing wrong with making polite small talk, though! Just photos/autographs should be avoided.

Long time lurker (this is my second account here), first time poster! I had an experience similar to crazygina18's. I was in the 3rd row at Yankee Stadium, and before the show Nancy went up to talk to someone she knew in the front row. She appeared out of nowhere, but I instantly recognized her and gasped. I was surprised that not only did she seem unnoticed, but the folks around me, all Hot Sound, saw my reaction and asked who she was. They weren't yet married, but still, you pay that much for a Paul ticket and don't know anything about his fiancee? Guess some folks just listen to the music. 😉 Anyway, she wound up sitting in around the 7th row in the center section on the right aisle. By halfway through the show word had gotten around to most people in the front sections who she was, and we occasionally turned to catch glimpses of her. She looked to be having a great time, which was really good to see. I was also in the 14th row at MSG in 2005 and Heather M. came in and sat in the front row of the main (non-floor) seats on the side, probably aligned with about the 12th floor row. She was seated right next to Tony Bennett! I glanced at her throughout the show, but she never really looked like she was enjoying herself. Finally, at the Standing Stone premiere, I was seated above and to the right of Paul's box. Not only did I watch him and his family through the entire show (and the orchestra of course!), but when Linda arrived she waved directly to my Mom and me. Linda was lovely - I'm so glad I had the chance to interact with her, even so slightly. I'll be 5th row center tomorrow in NJ, and will keep an eye out again!

Congrats on respecting her privacy. Famous people know when people recognize them and I am sure she was glad you treated her like normal person. Personal story a little off topic. Bunch of years ago, I would up sitting next to actor John Cusack on a plane in first class. (my company paid for it - lol). Anyway, I go to sit down and notice it is him but did not say anything. Flight takes off and he turns to me and says hi and asks how I am doing which was pretty cool. We talked for awhile about why I was flying to LA and current news of the day. After 15-20 minutes, I finally had the courage to say how much I liked "American Sweethearts" and did my best not to sound like crazy fan - ha ha. I guess my point is when you act normal to a famous person they will be more relaxed and appreciate it.

                                      Maybe I'm amazed !!

I saw Linda and Paul at the premiere of the Liverpool Oratorio in Carnegie Hall. A big of excitement went through the crowd when they were seated. In Las Vegas, HM was seated with Larry King in the first level of the balcony. Tony Curtis was in the front row of the side section, directly across from my seat. It was in the front row of the 2nd section on the floor. I have never seen Nancy. I know she has been in attendance at concerts I attended because of what Paul said. I've been on the floor, but didn't notice her.

My daughter and I were in the 12th row center the second night at Barclays in Brooklyn a few years back, on the aisle. She spent the whole concert standing there -- her dad was apparently in the seat just opposite me in the next section. She's even prettier in person. 🙂

I've also seen Nancy, as I had an end seat near the back of the first section., I think it might have been the same NYC show. She went by me a number of times with young Beatrice. She is even more beautiful in person. I've actually seen her several other times as we live in the same county, however I wouldn't dream of invading her privacy. Just smiling her way, as I think she's a very cool person... Have also seen Barbara and Olivia at a Radio City show. Now I can't say I wouldn't go and say hello to a musician... and I have made a point to talk to the ones I've run into here and there!! Musicians are usually friendly people and I find them to be very nice as long as you are polite.
