Crisp, cool walking and sleeping weather, the sound of leaves crunching beneath our feet, children jumping in leaf piles, aaaaahhhhh...LOVE it!!! The 22nd of September is a very special day of celebration for our family and one of our favorite days of the year!

It was really warm here today and so no leaves have fallen, however, was just discussing getting my leaves raked up when the time comes. All my neighbors big trees should leave a big pile leaves in my back yard! -

What I really love about Autumn, is that I make a point of taking a long drive along certain roads that are all tree lined on a crisp sunny day. That is truly a superb!! There are so many scenic spots where you can stop and see the colored leaves for miles.... Makes such beautiful photos
Natures colors can be such a feast for the eyes We are very lucky indeed! -

Love Loreena too! Listened to Mummer's Dance and watched The Mists of Avalon video and and also listened to Dante's Prayer a few different times this weekend.Very Beautiful! -
Would really like to see the Mists of Avalon movie, couldn't find it in full. The Mummer's Dance got me into Loreena, heard it on the radio and it took me weeks to find her! Love Dante's Prayer, it is quite evocative... also love the Mystic's Dream, Prologue. so many songs that feel as if they are songs from a past life. Walking in a medieval village late at night with the mist over the moon and you go back in time... that's where her music takes me. Just spent some time in several Medieval villages... hoped to see the leaves changing on that trip, but sadly had missed it there...
It was really cool for Halloween though.
