If that video ? made by somebody else ? infringes on copyright by using a song without permission, under these laws, not only can YouTube be sued for hosting it, you could be sued for reposting it."

Is to bad if this law are approves on USA or any other country. And the purpose they said is not real, piracy is not the issue, I think is people's freedom which scare the goverment.

I am sorry but I am not sure to understand what is going on exactly... When I read about what a scandal it was, I first thought it was about losing freedom on internet and basically losing access to any website that wouldn't be directly from the country we live in. But then I read as an example that megaupload got shut down... Megaupload got closed because it allowed people to share and download copyrighted videos illegally. I don't see why I should protest against that. But I might have misunderstood and probably the megaupload example I read was a bad one? So the next thing I'm thinking about is the fact that for example I can't watch videos from tv channels that are in my native country while I live in another. That sure is a pity but I know it also a legal/copyright reason that I would explain badly but that remains understandable. So if it is these sorts of things you are talking about, I don't think this will affect your access to a message board like this one. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to post your thoughts here while massive websites like facebook are being so popular and making lots of money... But if I didn't get it, please kindly explain to me what is really threatened. I've made a quick online search and what I read doesn't sound so threatening to me, it sounds more like they are trying to stop the piracy because it has become way out of control so it is the responsibility of every website to make sure piracy isn't allowed in any way.
