50/50 - you can try and convince me either way. I can't see how we did it with the same computational power of a modern mobile phone. On the other hand, wouldn't the USSR have been able to track the spacecraft, or lack of one if it was a fake?

To have successfully covered up a hoax for over forty years would have been alot more difficult than going to the moon in the first place. They went.....several times.

I wish they'd sort out the M25 first before moving further afield?

The way most conspiracy theories fall down in just the incredubility that the thousands of people held "in the know" have kept an vow of silence all these years without flinching. Imagine the price that anybody willing to step out of any such consipracy and blow the cover of the hoax could command from press, TV interviews etc? Such knowledge, and evidence, would be worth millions. Apply that thought to any of the many conspiracy theories... Martin

Oh you have got to be kidding! Of course human beings went to the moon. The Apollo project was the biggest single project ever undertaken by humans in history. The hardware worked, much of the technology we take for granted today was invented just for Apollo and the moon landings. The rockets were real, the lunar module was real. It all worked. You can see them at the Air and Space Museum in Washington. The Space Shuttle and the International Space Station are also fact not fiction. Humans live and work in Space.

My father was a rocket scientist who actually worked on the moon landing, the Mercury 3 rocket and the Saturn rockets. He worked on both the nosecone and the heat shield. HE believes we went there and thinks something is being hidden from us about what was found there.

Yes but some conspiracies have the potential to be true....look at Watergate. that was a case of the conspiracy theorist being totally right.

A friend of mine who has talked to two of those astronauts, says yes they did...I've wondered too. My friend's relative is also an astronaut and I've seen photos of him with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin... He's really into NASA related info and I believe him when he says they did go.
