True... When I first saw the breaking news on CNN I had a very hard time not believing it was terrorism. There were just too many coincidences: the fact that every day leading up to it there had been some disaster (Boston Bombings & ricin letters scare), the fact that it was two days from the 20th anniversary of the David Koresh incident and about 20 miles from the city it occurred in (Waco) and that it also ended in a blaze... This has been quite a week

Unfortunately, there have been a lot of fires and resultant explosions at chemical related plants over the years. This video is of a space shuttle fuel plant with two explosions. The second one larger than the first. This most recent explosion involved over one half million pounds of a volatile fertilizer chemical. There has been a long running debate about storing so much of these materials in one place. Rocket fuel plant in Nevada...double explosion.
