Firsly apologies if this is in the wrong thread, should anyone be interested I met Heather Mills this evening at my place of work where she is a member, i believe her daughter attends a school nearby, didn't talk to her for long and was on a profesional basis. She seemed pleasant enough and mentioned her charity work.

I've always thought she must really be a nice person, if Paul married her. She's done a lot of admirable things too!!!

Yes, she must have her good qualities if he liked her at one time. Her website says she's the fastest disabled woman on earth.

Probably to do with the skiing. I was so disappointed they gave her a hard time about the boots. It didn't seem fair. She should have been an Olympian!!!

You wouldnt actually notice she has a disability, it seems she just gets on with it. Actually chatted with her again today and she wished me a pleasant evening.

If I remember correctly she was trying to bend the rules as to what could be used. She had an unfair advantage apparently with what she was using. I don't remember the whole story though so take what I say with a grain of salt. edit to add I found an article but don't have time to read it all right now. http://news.sky.com/story/heather-mills-quits-ski-team-over-boot-row-10424050

I think they were horrible not to work with her. I hope there is some other way she can get her record on the books. They should have tried harder to work with her, and if she's found a better way to help all skiers, then they should give everyone the same advantage.

She cheated then physically assaulted the official who caught her. That violates the Olympic spirit and just general good sportsmanship, not to mention just basic human decency. She deserves nothing.

yeah, dumping water on Paul's lawyer's head was a real class move : and after being awarded $50,000,000

The song Heather... "Heather" is a song that appears on The Beatles bootleg No. 3 Abbey Road N.W., but was actually recorded on the 22nd November 1968 by Paul McCartney with Donovan and Mary Hopkin during the sessions for Hopkin's Postcard LP. The tune was written for Linda McCartney's daughter Heather, who was adopted by Paul, in his relationship with Linda Eastman. The 1968 demo has been widely associated under The Beatles name and was recorded in reasonable quality. Album: Driving Rain Artist: Paul McCartney
