Assistance with American Express Cardholder Pre-sales
-
For those asking for assistance with American Express pre-sales: All American Express card members are eligible to take part in American Express card member pre-sales. The difference between purchasing tickets via American Express Seating and American Express Preferred Seating is as follows: American Express Seating: Locate the American Express card member pre-sale section on the purchase page of the event you wish to attend. Select the number of tickets and price (if applicable) you would like to buy. Search for tickets and follow payment instructions until purchase is confirmed. The only accepted method of payment is a valid American Express card. American Express Preferred Seating: Locate the American Express preferred seating section on the purchase page of the event you wish to attend. Select the number of tickets and price (if applicable) you would like to buy. In the password box, enter the 10-digit customer service number or international promotional code on the back of your American Express card. Search for tickets and follow payment instructions until purchase is confirmed. The only accepted method of payment is a valid American Express card - gold or higher, platinum, etc. Hope this helps.

Paul's team do not manage the AMEX pre-sales so we cannot advise. However the fan pre-sales are open as are the VIP packages. Just follow links from here: http://www.paulmccartney.com/live/27468-out-there Martin

Thank you for all the replies. It opened as soon as I sent this message. Not really happy with what I pulled up so I'm hoping there are other US dates announced - NYC maybe?

Be patient as you'll start off in a 'waiting room' that refreshes every 44 seconds...right now (aside from the big 'sound check package') there appears to be two price points available - $104 (which is what I bought) and something that was more than $250 but less than $300 (didn't pay attention since that's not what I was interested in)...plus fees will be added at the time of the purchase...2 tickets for me caught $260 plus some change
-
PS - you will loose your place in the queue if you screw around and try to be overly selective...or even after you chosen your seats, if you don't fill in your order form correctly, you will eventually be 'timed' out as well (in other words, you won't be kicked out for making a mistake...but if you keep making mistakes, you'll take up too much time and get thrown back in that dreaded 'waiting room'...LOL

virtual waiting room is the worst thing ever, you have no control over when it lets you in to purchase. It will be a nightmare for anyone trying for tix on the day of the regular onsale when there are more people trying to buy.

I agree - I hadn't bought concert tickets since the last time Paul came to Fenway...and I don't recall the experience being as bad as it was today
