URGENT! Calling all Twilight (book) fans! I need your help!
-
My girlfriend has an english lit exam on the transgressions in Dracula in a few weeks and she's been revising like mad, however she has found out today that the exam question has been changed and now she's stressed and panicing! SO if anyone could point out how Twilight transgresses any sort of boundries she would be ETERNALLY in your debt! For dracula she has talked about things like how Dracula is seen as God like, how there are sexual symbols in the novel, how women are portrayed as sexual beings, how Dracula has a transgressive nature and can morph into animals, etc etc etc. All these points transgressed boundries at the time the book was published, however none of these points could be considered particularly transgressive now when featured in Twilight. So I'm sure you can understand her stress!
Thanks so much in advance!

Twilight and dracula are two different stories, i mean vampires don't glitter in the sun

I'm stumped! In the Twilight series, people turn into wolves, the vampires are all gorgeous and sexy (and Edward practically kills Bella during some hot sex!) but as far as "transgressing boundaries?" Not sure what the prof wants!
