Hello. Watched a doc on youtube called "The boy who lived before", also heard a few stories recently about people's young children talking about personal thoughts or details from their parent's childhood that they could not possibly know. I've been thinking about how everything in nature goes round in a cycle. Is anything ever truly destroyed or created? Do you have any stories to share? Do you believe that we can inherite memories in our genes? Love Gem. xXx

I saw this show or one like it a while back. I remember thinking at the time that memories could also be impressed upon our genes...in a manner similar to the ways that instincts obviously are.

haha oobu24! lol Sursteven, was it the lad who thought that he lived on an island called Barra? He remembered the white house by the sea, the name of the family (Robertson), the planes landing on the beach, a black and white dog. They all came true. He did get a couple of facts wrong though, like he thought that his father in a past life had been hit by a car, but there was no record of that. He had never been to the island before and they don't know how he would have picked up the name of the island as it's a pretty obscure place. V strange.

When the Beatles got into reincarnation and where talking about how everything that happened to them in this life was from things they all did in their past lives, I made the joke, "all the mania was because they made love to all those girls in the past and they remember it."

I've seen these you tubes and find them interesting and reincarnation interesting. Dr. Brian Weiss has done a lot of work on past lives regression. He found out about it accidentally when he hypnotized a woman to help her get rid of some severe symptoms and she started recalling a past life. I have talked at length to someone who has been regressed into several past lives and it was extremely fascinating to listen to all of them..., just like the little boy in the you tube above. Dr. Weiss had a workshop that I attended and he regressed the whole room into a past life. People around me had all different stories... it was quite interesting to hear them from people. While you were under... he asked you to look down at your feet to see what you were wearing and then directed you to look around and take note of what was around you. When I was young about 5 yrs old, I had vivid memories of being under the Eiffel Tower, which I didn't even know what it was until later... It took me many years to actually get to Paris I believe there is something to this!

All I know is that if you really look into it. I have undergone that hypnotic regression. I have had the memories resurface. Its simply a memory embedded within our souls which travels with us as it develops. love doris.

I think so too Doris. Some of the stories I've heard, one person was wearing Indian clothes and standing outside a teepee while his mother was giving birth, one person had on English riding clothes and boots and there were horses there, one person had on sailor clothes and was on a large old ship in the ocean, some of them knew their names and described what they were looking at in great detail.
