My new snowblower works great!!!
What kind did you get? I still haven't bought one. Did you get a battery operated one?
YES, I got the Snow Joe Ion Hybrid battery operated snowblower. What took 7 hours of shoveling, now took only about an hour. It's really lightweight and has a light too! I love it!!! If it wasn't so cold and windy, it would have taken half the time!!
You need to put a scarf over your face so you don't inhale all the tiny snow droplets, in the wind. I wish I had gotten the next size up, but this one is so lightweight and easy to use, a few extra passes is not bad at all!!
What size did you get? I was looking at a Toro (gas) electric start but it was only 18".

I got the 18" which I wish was a little bigger in a bad snowfall, but will be okay for most!

I'll have to take a look at those.

Snow blower? You kids today with all your newfangled gadgets. Why, back in my day, we had to use salt and shovels.
And you'd be lucky if you could find 18". Especially in the cold.

I bought the snow blower after spending 7 hours shoveling snow one day. It cut the time down to an hour!

Glad you found one L2T! My dad got a snowblower a few winters ago and it makes things so much easier! At his age he shouldn't be out shoveling heavy snow anyway. His neighbor across the street has been snowblowing for him though lately, such a wonderful thing for them to do.

Yeah, I'm grateful for those people in my life, too. I TRY to be a good neighbor. Ordered four boxes of Girl Scout cookies from my neighbor's kid. It's my duty to eat them, now. Hmmmmmm. Coming in a few days. I will do my duty and so will my hubs. He always does.

Mmmmm those Girls Scout Cookies are sooooo good. The thin mints are so addicting, I put them in the freezer to keep from eating the whole box!
Great News!!! Got a job transfer and I can't wait to leave a certain screaming boss behind... It will be well wort the commute!

Congratulations. Working with toxic people is bad for everyone. I don't know what it is about some people that turns them into little dictators as soon as they get a tiny amount of authority. Unless you're Xi Jinping, you're not the most powerful person in the world. Middle management is not a crown.

My good news is that I sold the movie option to my new book. I don't know if that's such great news for the world of cinema or literature, but it's a nice little bonus for me. I haven't worked since September, so I'm all for whoever wants to send me checks.

Thank you. I do indeed, but I don't want another moderated scolding about spamming. You could click the website button on my profile. That will give you all kinds of links. The new book is the first picture on the right.
