Cute, SurSteven And you were so cute, Kittay Nancy R, you looked like Paul McCartney (LOL). Cute! Rahil I've seen that big collage before, it's cute. Makes me wish I had an orange to eat. (LOL) I wish I had a cell phone thingie that takes pix, like everybody else has. Even so I don't know how to get pix in here, although I've been able to post pix at some other sites.

I did see that adorable pic of you as a child, Kittay (see above 2013 post). The above explains why I can't get pix in here. Martin from the Midlands used to post some pix here for me, but he's not here anymore, looks like. He was a moderator for a long time.

This is me as a 14 year old. The year before Sgt. Pepper was released. No Beatles influence here!

After I thought about it more, I remembered that this photo was my school picture taken in early 1967, my 15th birthday followed in the spring and then the legendary Summer Of Love followed shortly there after! These two are from Christmas of 59 and from 1963 as I remember, with my 3 brothers. I am the one on the left in both photos. A cosmic cowboy in one and a righteous brother in the other And this is a picture of the Woolworth's store where I shared the 77 cent price of the first Beatle record we ever bought, with a friend... I Want To Hold Your Hand ...around Xmas of 64

Funny to run across these while searching for something else ! lol

You guys had your school photos taken in January or February? We always had them taken in the fall sometime after school started. Also, curious - you didn’t buy I Want To Hold Your Hand until Xmas of 1964? It came out Xmas 1963. I used to buy all my 45s at Woolworth’s too! Bought albums at Zayre’s.

The Autumn of '66 is most likely. According to Wikipedia, IWTHYH was released in the U.S. on December 26th, 1963 (The day after Christmas and St. Stephen's Day)  Were people required where you live to buy records in the same year they were released?

Of course not, goofball, I just thought it was odd you got the 45 a year after it came out. 😛

That's you as Snow White? You're a writer too, right? As well as a dancer, singer, optimist

Who, me?  Yes, I was Snow White and my roommate was Aurora, except she wasn't my roommate at the time.  Now, she teaches buxiban English to children.

I used to be an optimist.  I retired recently.
