Is this an amphitheater gig? I don't think he has played a shed since Charlotte in 1993.

I don't know what the parking permit options will be but I figured it was prudent to go ahead and buy one now, which can be done here: https://store.summerfest.com/parking-pass-2

All these years I have been saying he could not play Albuquerque because our only real viable venue is a 15,000 amphitheater. At least we know now he can if he wants to. Enjoy the concert!

Marcus is a bit bigger, 23,000 seats and I don't know if that includes the lawn or not...

Yes, but he's playing an arena in Sioux Falls that will seat about 11,000 for his concert. Just sayin'!

And they probably have a substantial pool of revenue to draw from.

Probably Summerfest grounds admission tacked on so that raises the price which raises the taxes?

TM currently does not indicate any presales but Paul's site states that that is who is handling Monday's presale at 10AM. http://www.ticketmaster.com/paul-mccartney-milwaukee-wisconsin-07-08-2016/event/07005086E1F476B3?artistid=735610&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1 Note that the earlier quoted news report indicates that it is a SLO sale (just VIP?) on Monday and will be via PM.com. Hopefully this will all be clarified soon.

I noticed that the other Marcus headliners were all charging an average of $100 as a top ticket price. Which makes me hopeful that the presently advertised $363 is ultimately inaccurate. I mean, if PMcC is - theoretically - having $100+ tacked on for Fest Fees (Gen Adm is $20 per day), then why wouldn't, say, Tim McGraw be similarly inflated? I say, as much out of desperately hopeful optimism as anything else, that his Marcus Ampitheater prices will ultimately be comparable to the past 14 years of US Macca prices.
