SOMERSET THIEVES IN THE DARK OF NIGHT
-
I am 66 and a half years old and 'I have lived a bit' - met a lot of people - Right up in the 'top draw' of good people I was lucky to meet and gain as my freind is a guy known in 'the trade as 'DJ' Howes. I call him just 'H'. H know's I am a big enough fan of Mr Mc' to argue the toss in my pub in dark and wet Somerset with 'locals' who probably thought the Wurzells actually wrote a song about new rollen -skates! They didn't like Macca because he was more foreign than I was. I speak 'Lundin' and they could almost cope with that. So they stole from me in the nightime, in 2010. They stole a prize possetion off my wall that pictured Paul holding a drum skin he had kindly signed for me. Not only signed, but he drew 3 horse-shoes on it because that was the name of my pub. The Three Horseshoes, and he wrote "Cheers pub" under them. Being of good Scouse stock, he din't get the hump either that night in LA when he fell down a hole in the stage - mid show! No, 'trouper Paul carried on and kept his humour enough to sign that drum skin for DJ' after the gig' - 'cause he could and because he would. So - if anyone has this or knows where it is, it is STOLEN GOODS and it is on the Police theft file in Frome. H' DJ' is in LA now and I still miss him a lot. I would bet my drum skin - if i still had it - that H knows more than anyone on the whole planet about Hammond's too! bises.X

Wow! I'm just a new kid at this new school playground and so soon someone is saying kind things to me! I'm gonna' like it here. - H' got leonard Cohen to write me a message about 'Closing Time' too. They didn't nick that though, because L.C. is even more foreign than Paul Mc Cartney. L.C. wrote "to bob, may you never be thirsty at closing time" which was really cool, because he knew I had a pub near to Glastonbury where I went to see the man weave his wonder. bises.x. R&R.

I hope so! There definitely a lot of fun discussions around here to get involved with and a lot of interesting people to meet...
