What's the trick to getting tickets? We had 4 of us log on at the same time to try, hoping to get a total of 11 between us for the group.. First tried the paulmccartney.com presale, where the Pittsburgh link took you to a page to buy tickets apparently for the Albany concert, and all the information was in Korean. Some kind of a joke I guess but I didn't find it that funny. Only the next day when it was all fixed did I understand how the language could've been changed, but of course it was too late. Then the Amex presale.. We logged on right when the clock changed to 10, and it found no tickets left under $250. Friday presale and Monday General sale- same result! 4 people trying and none could get a single ticket! Is there some trick other than click immediately at 10 that none of us knows how to do? Fortunately there are tons of "fans" who were able to get these tickets but apparently found out about 10 minutes later that they would indeed not be able to go so generously put them back up for sale on stubhub.

Something sure seems fishy! I had a very similar experience. How could it be impossible to score even 1 ticket at 10:00 a.m. in the general sale online?

Absolutely, considering 2,000 seats were on Stubhub.

          7/15/11- Yankee Stadium
          6/8/13- Barclays Center
          7/5/14- Times Union Center
          8/7/16- MetLife Stadium
          9/15/17- Madison Square Garden

          Thank you Paul!

How long did you try to buy, and how many tickets did you select when you tried to order? Sometimes right at 10 am there are so many people trying to get in, that no tickets will show up, and you have to keep trying for 20 minutes or so until the system clears. And if you kept trying for larger amounts of tickets such as 4 or more, it's possible that the system just could not find any row that had that many seats together, so it will just keep saying "none available" but if you tried for pairs, better odds that some tickets may show up.

I have two seats available for Pittsburgh in Section 110 Row Q seats 17-16 (aisle seats) I bought them on the presale but then got better seats on a later sale. I want to sell them to a real fan and not resort to stubhub. Face value at $290 each, would prefer to not split the pair.

Exactly, for the Amex presale I kept kicking back sections I did not want until 40 min later found the section I wanted.

I logged on each day at 10 (and kept searching throughout that hour) trying to find a pair of tickets for friends, and couldn't pull anything up below the $290 range. Ridiculous. I've been buying McCartney tickets since 2002, and never recalled it being this difficult. I was able to get in right away for VIP during presale, but that's not the point. What about the fans who just want a lower priced ticket? Scalpers have their in's with Ticketmaster for sure. I never used to think that as I hate being a conspiracy theorist, but it's very fishy....

I feel for you guys. I have been trying since last Tuesday...the PM.com presale to get a VIP ticket. I had no idea I needed to go to ticketmaster. I clicked on Albany and was given Louisville KY. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! Got nothing. Then tried the Amex Sale. Again NOTHING! Just about to give up and buy tickets at a very high price from a resale site. Got into the general public sale on Monday and got something close to what I wanted. The whole ticket sale thing was hokey! I wanted front row center....NEVER came up,on ANY sale. Finally settled for 6th row center.not complaining since so many people got, shut out completely BUT it has been a week of STRESS. And I still didn't get what I really wanted. Not for nothing, but some of us have to go to work and just can't be on the computer all day searching and hoping for tickets to show up. So, yes I am going to Albany...but there has to be a better way to get THE REAL FANS tickets without going through all this nonsense. GOOD LUCK to all of,you still searching. From past experience..more tix will show up and the stubhubs, etc out their will lower their prices and the date gets closer.

Front row *center* seats are never put on sale for Paul. MPL holds onto those and they put friends/family/upgrades in the center seats. And yes I know somebody here on the boards bought one during a presale for a show last year, but that was a stadium show where the rows are longer, so the odd seat might pop up, but 99.9999% of the time you will not see front row center for sale. Sorry you had problems but 6th row center is pretty darn great!

I don't know how many tickets at the lower price ranges they put on sale, but I suspect there are less of those available than the $290 range so more people competing for a smaller pool of tickets? I agree it is frustrating when you can't just go in and get the seats and sections and prices that you want!!

Patience is the key..,in the PM, Amex and general sale I was able to pull 50-60 pairs of tickets....and put all but 2 pair ( one in the PM sale and one in the general sale )...understand that people try to buy, get psyched out by price, run out of time, get greedy and go for better seats etc...tickets were available in pairs for at least 30 minutes each day. My wife and I will be hitting New Orleans and Pittsburgh...one set of uber seats and one set of affordable seats. Don't pay attention to the "none available" or sold out notice when you start clicking...it doesn't mean it ( unless it's a 900 seat venue )

When I tried for tickets, I will admit I was late to the dance for the pre-sale, still I tried prior to the general sale, but I can't really complain as I was unable to try earlier for personal conflict reasons. So, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, I tried and tried and tried ... ALL DAY. I tried for 4 tickets, 2 tickets, 1 ticket! NOT ONE SINGLE TIME did I have even a 290 dollar ticket option! How is that possible? Sorry, something stinks here! I have been waiting for Paul to come to our area for many years, so this is a MAJOR BUMMER. In the scheme of life it's not that big of a deal, so I'll get over it, but Paul should know about this!

Next time just remember to keep clicking...it might take 20 minutes, but you will get something. Other than the aforementioned 900 seat venues, it's never failed me. Living in Chicago and being a hockey fan, the same strategy scored me Stanley cup finals tickets last year 15 minutes after the onsale time and supposedly that was an instant sell out
