Hello there everyone just thought i'd drop a few lines to say hello. My name is Gwen but always go by my nickname on messageboards for some reason,i come from Liverpool and am happilly married to my Beatles/Paul (and Pink Floyd) mad husband,he takes credit for my musical education (and to be fair before i met him i did have an awful selection of music, some real howlers). Anyway we finally got round to seeing Paul last december at the Echo Arena in Liverpool,it was an amazing night to say the least. Anyways hope to be around here quite a bit and over at the new site as everyone seems so friendly.

The highlight..good question so many,so many but if i had to point out a couple i would say Hello/goodbye (Alan's favorate Beatles song)1985 and Mull of Kintyre,it was all just wonderful to be honest but even now those are the songs that stick out. The banter between Paul and the crowd was pretty good too (loved the bit where people booed the Cilla Black story) . We've tried many times to get tickets always without luck (and i simply wont pay ebay or tout prices) but for some reason i got a feeling (that was pretty good on the night too)that we'd be in luck if we tried the arena's website direct and bingo a few moment faffing about we had our tickets. So we scan the site in hope of a date (or two) close enough to us for this year now as well frankly we've got the bug, even our teenage sons want to go next time so hopefull it wont be too long to wait

I know, I could never do that! It was amazing to watch! That guitarist should be left handed... Paul should come home more often!

Hi, Great comments above and good to find a forum page on the official site of my / our hero. I'm Jim & I've been to 7 McCartney shows with the last one in Dublin 2yrs ago with my wife. Fave song for me is always Hey Jude! & a tear crosses the eye at that moment Paul hits the piano - wonderful memories and life can be good! Hope to make lots of friends here! Best Wishes Jim
