Yes, that's a good look for him! It's like a combo of his previous Beatles jackets, with the added Sgt Pepper stripes on the left sleeve. Wonder who designs his tour wardrobe. Seems like he would turn to Stella for that.

On top of the world! Paul McCartney, 75, becomes first Beatle to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge... after Kylie Minogue and others praise his first Australian performance in 24 years
By Alex Michael for Daily Mail AustraliaPublished: 06:19 EST, 13 December 2017
Sir Paul McCartney has become the first Beatle to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The rock legend's effort on Wednesday afternoon local time was made all the more impressive given his 75-years of age.
More impressive still was the fact that he managed the 2-hour climb to the top after going all-out for an epic three-hour concert on Monday night....
Despite the tiring climb, he looked full of energy and ready for the climb back down...
It's wonderful, awesome and totally cool that Paul was able to make it to the top of the climb! This is what I wrote about it on the Paul McCartney Photo Thread:

Love that photo, it was with the article about him making the 2 hour climb to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. That's wonderful he was able to do that! Most men (of any age!) would have trouble making the climb. He must have felt just like Sylvester Stallone in Rocky, after running up the Philadelphia Museum steps, lol. He's not just Macca, he's Super Macca (Can hear the Rocky theme music as I type)

Sir Paul McCartney talks to Mike Hosking about hongi and Kiwi crowds
15 Dec, 2017 7:50am
NZ HeraldSir Paul McCartney has confirmed he's hanging out in "beautiful" Hawke's Bay – and if any locals bump into him don't be surprised if he hits you up for a hongi.
The Beatles legend says he's looking forward to a show that's like a "big party' in Auckland on Saturday night – and he's enjoying being back in New Zealand and specifically Napier, which he says has "echoes of Scotland".
"It's fantastic, it's beautiful countryside and I had a day off so I thought I'll come and find somewhere really sweet and this is fantastic, beautiful," McCartney told Newstalk ZB's Mike Hosking this morning.
McCartney said he had "great memories" of touring New Zealand with the Beatles in 1964, including the Maori welcome they received at Wellington Airport.
"The main memory is rubbing noses with the Maori … to you I'm sure that's kind of you know ordinary but to me that's like I don't do that every day so that's pretty amazing."
McCartney told Hosking that touring concerts had changed enormously since the pre-Beatles days as the Quarrymen, when he and John Lennon played through a shared amp.
"From when we started out it's a completely different thing. We started in a van."
In particular sound systems were now much more advanced than the baseball public address system the Beatles used at Shea Stadium in 1966.
"We couldn't get heard above the screaming girls."
The Beatles legend performs at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland on Saturday night.
He's determined that the crowd gets their money's worth and the current shows can last up to three hours. Hosking noted McCartney had enough material to perform for nine hours.
"That would be a bit knackering," McCartney noted.
He agreed that continuing to perform live helped keep him young at the age of 75.
"I do it because I like it and I think there is that thing where you give up what you're used to doing you can a bit sitting by the telly all day and I don't fancy that," he said.
"People pay big money to come to a show so I feel obliged to give them a good time."
McCartney said he tried to select a song list that he would want to hear if he was a fan – and he acknowledged that the older fans wanted to hear Beatles material – but said younger fans knew his more recent work better.
"I do love it and I do it because it's great fun."

Hi strbfields4ever
Yes I saw the clip and loved it - in addition to what Calico has posted, it's also on Paul's official instagram at
https://www.instagram.com/p/Bcx74bgHVrx/
Especially liked the very end where he sweetly reassured the bird "Yes, we're gonna let you go. We're saving you!"
Several years ago I met a guy from New Zealand (before I knew Kiwi was also a type of bird!). I knew New Zealanders referred to themselves as Kiwis, which I thought was because of the Kiwi fruit that comes from NZ, lol. He said in his NZ accent "Kiwis have the biggest beaks EVER!" I giggled, embarrassed, thinking he was referring to something else, and didn't know what to say.... He explained it's a type of bird..... After seeing Paul's video, I understand a little better now...

Here's a few news reports about Paul's Auckland concert:
Paul McCartney rocks Auckland's Mt Smart in first NZ concert since 1993

Sir Paul McCartney kicks off Auckland concert
The concert covered the singer's career from his songs with The Beatles all the way up to his recent collaboration with Kanye West.
Bob Lyall, a lifelong Beatles fan, was 17 when the band performed in Wellington in 1964. Now 70, on Saturday night he fulfilled his dream of seeing one of the Fab Four in the flesh again.
"The wait was definitely worth it because he hasn't changed one little bit since 1964; he's still exactly the same," Mr Lyall says.
"And the crowd - 30,000 last night - was awesome. They were dancing off their feet."
The night had one sour note - the length of the line to pick up what punters thought would be limited free tickets. McCartney fan Rebecca Goodbehere was a little miffed at the sheer number of complimentary tickets.
"Looking at this length of the free stuff over there, I'm a little bit offended that I spent so much money on my original tickets."
But one potentially heart-breaking story had a heart-warming twist. Helen Jones bought a $400 ticket online in Sydney and flew over to Auckland, only to be told it was a forgery. Thankfully, her story had a happy ending.
"I got very upset, and the lovely Kiwis actually gave me a free ticket," she says.
"I can't believe that, so these Kiwis - unbelievable."
You can't buy love, but it seems a ticket to Paul McCartney is the next best thing.

Sir Paul McCartney kicks off Auckland concert
16/12/2017
Adam HollingworthSir Paul McCartney kicks off his one-off New Zealand concert in Auckland on Saturday night.
Eager fans have been streaming to the venue, Mt Smart Stadium, with almost 30,000 people expected to attend.
It's the first time he's been here since 1993 - and 53 years since the 1964 Beatles tour that changed the country.
In June 1964 the Beatles shook up New Zealand. It was a week of mass hysteria - there were the concerts where they could barely hear themselves beneath the piercing shrieks of teenagers.
Authorities were woefully unprepared for the near riots wherever they went.
It's been said New Zealand was never the same again, but the Fab Four never returned as a band. But Sir Paul, back with his wife Linda in 1993, remembered it well.
"I mean it's a long time ago now. But the Māori welcome and rubbing noses is hard to forget, it was good fun," he says...

Yes, but to say “he hasn’t changed one little bit since 1964.”

I understand what you're saying, but I think that that fan meant "Paul is looking so well, and has so much energy and stamina to do a three hour show, it's as if no time has gone by!" The Aussie and NZ fans have waited a long time to see him again, so some of them are speaking from that frame of mind. There's no way any of us (including Paul!) could NOT change a bit physically as we progress through life, but I think he looks much younger and healthier than most men his age do, and that's a blessing!.
