Well, it's only days away and I am surprised not much of a "hot topic" on news or radio in Ottawa. Haven't heard anything. I wonder when Paul will be arriving in Ottawa? Maybe then, the hype will kick in. I've been excited for weeks and have created my own hype LOL (but I am extremely bias, of course!

I agree with you mcdee, who would have imagined that we would be seeing the Stones and McCartney in the same summer? I don't know when or if this will happen again. This has really made my year

I have two pre sale tix for sale at cost. I was able to buy a closer set from another board member. Im excited. Anyone meeting up before the show. There's a restaurant at the venue that might be good for a pre show beer. Other Macca nerds? I went to a meet up in Montreal and enjoyed it.

I can't recall if it was in the same season, say summer, but this is the fourth time I have seen Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones in the same year, 2002, 2005, 2012 (at the same gig 12.12.12.) and 2013.

My wife and I are off to the Ottawa region Saturday morning to visit some friends before seeing Paul McCartney on Ringo Starr's birthday!

Happened upon the Hard Rock Café in the downtown sector of Ottawa this morning. Saw a Paul pic in the doorway so went in to investigate and found a bunch of Wings and Beatles memorabilia, including a shirt Linda wore during the WOTW tour. I put a few pictures on my twitter feed if anyone is interested. @luckiest1s
