@5th-beatle: yes, new merchandise. Usual prices: $40 and up for shirts, etc. There was a stall set up outside the stadium, so you were able to purchase things before the gates opened, as well as stalls inside the stadium.

is there a tour poster? not a big one, but a small one with all the tour dates of this tour?

Not that I saw. I bought the only poster I saw and it was large (not 24x36 large, but maybe 20x24...haven't measured) and only $10. There were about a dozen shirts for men, and about half that for women.

thanks. i don't have room for a huge poster. oh well. maybe i'll just frame my ticket.

Great pictures! Was this the actual view from the 15th row or did you zoom in? I have 13th row in Cincy and have never been on the floor before, I was just wondering what kind of view to expect.

        5x optical zoom.

I was at the show last night with my wife, and this was the first Macca show for both of us. While I understand that a lot of people on the board were disappointed with the set list and that it was generally the same as last tour, I'm one of those people who absolutely loved it. It was amazing to see all those songs performed live and Paul's voice and energy is great for 69. I'd watch this concert live every day and not get tired of it. We were 16 rows back in A2 and the seats were worth every penny. I would never think of dropping $300/ticket on anything else but this. To me, it was once in a lifetime and I'm so glad I finally got to see him. There have been many times over the years that I've tried to see him and it just didn't work out for many different reasons. I'm only 30, but I've seen hundreds of concerts and it's safe to say this is the best show I've ever seen. Almost every song was a highlight for me. A few have asked about merch...there were about a dozen shirts for men, and about half that for women. It seemed like different booths had different shirts, and we went to about 3 before deciding what we wanted. All the shirts were $30-$40 and there was at least 1 hoodie. Posters were $10, program was $20, there were water bottles and some other little things for sale as well. I really liked about half the shirts designs. Not a big fan of the old "huge artist picture on the front of the shirt" shirt, but there were a good amount of those. There was a special NY shirt that had both dates on it, and I bought that just to save. I also bought 2 more shirts, a poster and a program...like I said, to me this was once in a lifetime Anyway, I sympathize with the people disappointed by this set, but for every one of you, there's one of me who absolutely had the time of their life last night.

Yup! We were in row 16. Everyone around us was great and really added to the atmosphere. The woman behind us hadn't seen Paul in over 40 years and was absolutely losing her mind. She brought her son and you could tell he was so happy for her. The 2 women next to us were in heaven and so happy we were seeing Paul for the first time. The man next to us brought his son, who couldn't have been older than 15. A2 rocked. Not a bad seed anywhere near us.

I totally agree with you!! Everyone in our section was so nice!! I felt a little worried because my mom and I had our posters up for a lot of the show and we were in row 6. I thought people were going to tell us to put them down, but they were telling us the opposite. They actually kept on telling us to put them up because we got Pauls attention and they wanted him to keep looking in our section. Shout out to section A2

I was there last night and am still reliving the night. Some of the more wonderful things include 1. Paul, of course! He had such energy and presence as always. I'm sure he spoke from experience when he wrote about living life with a sense of childlike wonder. 2. 50,000 people singing along with Paul. So much collective emotion is deeply moving. 3. One sign read, "Hey Paul, I'm Jude." To which Paul replied, "hey, Jude!" 4. The way the crowd repurposed the Yankees "let's go Yankees" cheer to "Paul McCartney" in the same rhythm. Whatever one's opinion of the Yankees might be, that was a perfect tribute to Paul in that venue. 5. The guy doing the closed captioning (not part of Paul's set and a little odd for a rock concert!) had trouble following much of the show, but hit his stride when captioning "na na na na na na na!" 6. The way my dad put his arms around my brother and me during the entirety of let it be. Possibly the most important moment of my night. We were only one of many who were drawn closer to one another through the experience of Paul's music. While I understand why people have complaints about the set list, it does not bother me in the least. I've seen him seven times at this point and I hope to see him many many more.

I don't know if anyone posted it but the NY Times review (check it online) of this show was very good although they did mention the show has not changed much from the 2009 Citifield show.

                              Maybe I'm amazed !!

I just walked in with it (after a week of fretting like crazy). About 350 shots in, some angry guy in a suit and an earpiece came over to me and told me to take the telephoto off, which was timely as artistically I hadn't taken many wide angles yet. 🙂 With about 30 minutes to go, I put it back on. And kept it there. Regardless, the stage lights are so hot, it was tough to get shots -- exact opposite of any other show I've shot. It's got to be tough on Paul.
