Thanks, Mca1982!  All those titles are wonderful!   #4 sounds especially hopeful! lol  Thanks.

Especially like #7 "Dancing in the Dark."  Since Paul has always loved songs by Jerome Kern, that would be a really good choice for him, especially if he did an album filled with nostalgic songs.   I remember Cyd Charisse and Fred Astaire dancing to that song in an old MGM movie

#7 just made me think of the Bruce Springsteen song!  😂

Yep, always loved the video of this song with him dancing with a very young Courtney Cox - lol

"All My Life" - I really like that!  Great idea for a title, Adriana!

I'm curious now as to what the title of the new album will finally be, can't wait for it's release!

"Aural Ecstasies" (alludes to "Electric Arguments" title)

The Macca Report (too journalistic, LOL)

Paul on the Road to St. Barts (after "(Saint) Paul on the Road to Damascus" LOL

"Why Don't We Do It and Upload" (Ouch) relates to the Net, going online and to the famous Why Don't We Do It On the Road ditty

"Macca My Dear" reminds one of the enchanting song "Martha My Dear"

You Want To See My Sunshine? relates to that Memory Almost Full song that I feared was about H.M. and to Good Day Sunshine classic

Thanks, Susy!  Love "Macca My Dear" as a title if there are a lot of guest artists on the album dedicating songs to him.   Before Linda passed away, she probably could have recorded a song with that title, on one of Paul's albums, substituting Macca for Martha  in the lyrics, and changing the words "silly girl" to "silly boy" of course.

                      How about...

                      "Moon Over Macca"

"Visions of Paul" (like Dylan's "Visions of Johanna")

                      "A Man Called Macca"

"I Got the Blues For You...And the Rock n' Roll and the Ballads" oops that first "I Got The Blues For You" is the title of a Stones song, I think (?)

                      "Macca...The Mystery and the Mastery"

Hi Susy!   There's so many possibilities for titles with the word "Macca" aren't there?

                        Maccaroni

                        Maccadamia

Hmmm.... What other words go with his nickname?

I doubt he’d ever name an album with any variation on “Macca” in the title. Would sound too pretentious. That may be the wrong word, but he never calls himself that, we do. Some fan made it up. It would be like if Elvis had called one of his albums “The King.”

I understand what you're saying,  we were just having a bit of fun trying to think of words that are a play on his nickname   (the only other reference I could think of was the Macca-rena song, lol)

I've always liked his nickname, it's even in the name of this board, lol, and feel it somehow suits him.

As far as the origins of his  nickname, John used to call him that, before they became famous.  See the beginning of the Ron Howard "Eight Days a Week Documentary," where John calls him Macca in the voice over before the opening credits.   (Just watched it again on DVD, and put the closed captions on to make sure, lol)   Perhaps it was a nickname that Paul's closest friends and schoolmates used for him, and eventually the fans heard about it and started using it as well.

I did some searching on the internet, and people have posted that in the Liverpudlian culture Macca can be a nickname for anyone with Mc in their surname, and that they have other kinds of nicknames too... like someone named Barry can be nicknamed Baz, or someone named Mary can be Maz or Mazzy.  Maybe someone from Liverpool can correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh yeah, I forgot about John calling him that. 😉 I knew that Macca was a nickname for those with Mc (or Mac) in their surname (my 2nd husband was a Mc!)

(a double album.  When opened, the vinyl edition could have two large center photos.  One of Paul from AHDN saying "Zap!" and next to it --on the other side-- a recent photo of him making the dreaded X from Family Feud!   He'd probably have to write a title song though, which might be tricky ... but if anyone could pull it off, Paul could! )

Got some good titles and it will be interesting to see if it is something different than the title of a song on the album which he has done fairly often. (Flaming Pie, New, Driving Rain, Band On The Run, Tug Of War, London Town, Off The Ground etc)

Maybe he could call it "Now and Then", where we get that last Lennon/McCartney/Starr collaboration as the title track

Yes! That would be a great title, and release

Another idea... since "Now and Then" and "Carnival of Light" are Beatle collaborations, maybe they could be included in a new Beatles album... of unfinished/unreleased songs, which were composed before John and George died.  There's also a song that George wrote about Ringo that would make a great track as well.   (Olivia discovered George's handwritten manuscript of it a few years ago and gave it to Ringo.)    Paul wrote "Cosmically Conscious" when the band was in India, that could be put in the album, and I'm sure there's other songs he and Ringo wrote that were never rehearsed or recorded. The album could also feature re-releases of "Real Love" and "Free as a Bird" etc.
