-
I have seen this charity auction and it ends on 90mins. I am interestsed in trying to get this but only want one ticket, if anyone else was interested in going halves upto £5000 total for both then PM me ASAP as this ends soon cheers http://ican.auction-bid.org/micro2.php

You mean £2,500 each or £5,000 each? Also, are you 100% aware that you may have to travel quite far for the concert and they don't cover that?
-
I meant £2.5k each and why would you have to travel a long way, it is a concert of your choice, and is a uk auction so i am presuming there will be a uk show on this tour? but to answer your question i am not 100% certain i am presuming

What if there isn't, though? There are no solid rumours of any UK (or Europe, even) dates. Also mentions the dates being announced this month... but it looks like it's only going to be South America and probably US, Japan and South Korea.

i have messaged the auction people but ends in an hour so might not get a reply, up until an hour ago i had the winning bid at £4000 but dont really want to go higher on my own. if i dont hear back i guess i wont do anything if i do i will post back here

Honestly, I am so so tempted, but I'm not sure I can quite manage to shell out that much money. Especially if there is no guarantee of any UK dates. I wish they'd held this auction AFTER all the date announcements.

I know what you mean that is why i was willing to go £4k on my own, seems like a one off event, front row, shoundcheck and a photo oportunity with Paul! If i had won it i was going to sell some of my autograph collection to pay for it
-
Good luck you guys. I would hope that he'll play near you. Fingers crossed.
-
Did someone outbid you Jason? I see it's 4100 now.
-
yes i had £4000 and is now £4100 which was why i was trying to decide if to up my bid, but cant really afford to do so on my own
-
Oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh godammit. Someone lend me some money!!!

This is reply i got from organisers, i think i cant really risk it on their answer
Hi Jason, Thanks for your interest in this auction lot. It may be overseas but he is likely to do some concerts in the UK which are tba. The prize includes two front row seats, exclusive access to sound check, and a photograph opportunity with Sir Paul at the show. Happy bidding!
I am sure as well he will do UK but a lot of money to waste if he doesnt

They said it is your choice of concert, right? So if you win, tell them you will wait for a UK concert. He's bound to do one soon!

Did he do any last year?

Did he do any last year?
None. And only three European dates that I didn't have the time off or money to be able to attend.

That's hard then.
Announce the dates man!
-
Sounds tempting, but it's hard to invest so much money not knowing for sure there will be any UK/EU dates. I suppose the auction has ended by now.
-
Current bid £9000.

Call me romantic, but this is not the way I'd want to meet Paul McCartney. I wouldn't want it to be an obligation on his part.
