Was wondering what happens to the posters and banners after each concert Paul does... such as the one below.  Are they the property of MPL so the venues have to return the banners/posters, etc to them?  I know movie theater chains have a system like that where they return posters to movie distributors after a movie has finished its run.Image result for "Paul McCartney" AND "one on one"

Am just interested in collecting one, and never see them on Ebay or used for sale online, so was just wondering, and thought someone might know, or have managed to collect one themselves.  Thanks!

      (P. S.  I did manage to scoop up a large bunch of confetti after Paul's concert in Wichita, and made a decorative piece of artwork with it, lol, but that's about all from the concert venue itself I was able to save.    The venue ushers were going around sweeping the confetti up and were going to just throw it away.  One guy offered to get a big box for me to put ALL of what they swept up in    but I told him that was ok.... all I need is a handful, lol)

I think that they are recycling it. And maybe later use for another and another posters, banners . Paul is 'eco'person, so it doesn't make sense to do lots of banners and later just give them for free to crew. And what they would even do with this big posters? 😄

That would make sense, Makka!   I'm sure Paul would be a good recycler.     I just wondered, because I've never seen any used tour posters and banners for sale, that fans or collectors might be interested in.   It's possible they are destroyed after each tour, so no unauthorized persons can sell or reproduce them for profit.

And like you said about the big posters, they probably measure 6 feet x 24 feet, or even larger...  you'd never be able to hang those up in your house!

I got one of the street banners when Paul was here in Vancouver in 2012.

i contacted Live Nation locally and they got me one.

Thanks, Henderson 7.   Sounds like the authorized ticket sellers or promoters may be a good way to get one.   That's great they got one for you!
