Tried to post your thread yesterday and earlier today, Nancy, but no success! While I can create a test thread in TMT (or any other forum), it does not work with the text you suggested! I even tried to create the thread in other forums (with the intention of moving it to TMT afterwards) but no luck either! I am getting an error message each time! This board is a mystery!

How do you delete a signature image? I thought I was putting a image into my avatar but mistakenly put into signature line
when I go into signature it doesn't give an option to delete; only edit to another picture
help!

Just click on edit and copy the pic (like you would if it were text) and delete it.
You can do the same thing if you want to quote a post with a pic in it, you can delete the pic if you want.
I have yet to figure out how to change a pic to a link, though. LadyLeslie knows how.

This is how to change a photo to a link:
In Edit or Quote mode
Click on your photo
Click on "Image" button at top
Copy link after box comes up (Ctrl-C)
Click Cancel at bottom
Click on photo again
Press Delete
Keep cursor where photo was
Click on Link Icon at top
Paste photo link in URL box
Click Save or OK
Then Click Save or Reply at bottom of post

Glad it can be of help.Just tried to figure out how to fix Busher's problem with signature photo... I created a signature photo, then tried to edit and remove... and understand their frustration!! If you click edit, it only gives you a straight pink line, with the option of adding a new photo..... you can't click on a photo to delete.... grrr... Guess I'll have an avatar at the bottom for a while until I can figure this out, lol

i have tried deleting by trying different ways, but can't delete...only change
maybe there is a way to do a new image which doesn't take as much space...but I'm hesitant to edit as may add another picture...any suggestions on a small image?
just seems like an easy solution to delete, but....

. Sorry, of course you are correct! I didn’t even notice what forum we were in when I clicked on your first post!I can’t understand why one of the Mods hasn’t answered you. Maybe even though they work for MPL, they get the 4th of July off. Lol!

Hi Busher, the best solution is to do what Nancy suggested... just replace current signature photo with a smaller one. You can use the one Nancy posted in a previous post... the photo will stay small
I'll walk you through steps in next post... -
Ok, Busher... these are steps to change photo... it will replace photo you currently have with smaller one
Scroll up to photo that Nancy suggested for your signature photo... or if you want to use a different one, select one using these steps... (Search "Paul McCartney" on google... Click on "Images".... Then click on "Size" at left... scroll down to "Icon" and you'll see all kinds of teeny Paul photos you can choose from
)After locating photo Nancy suggested (or any teeny photo you'd like) right click and save to your computer as any name you want
Go to My Account in settings here
Scroll down to Signature Photo
Click on Edit
Click Browse
Your computer file window should pop up
Go to file on your computer where you saved your little photo to
Select that photo
Click "Open" at bottom right
The photo should now appear as your signature image
Click on "Save"
Go back to forum, your posts should all have the small signature image now
