First of all this is the Peace thread. We’re all adults and we all love Paul, Peace!
We probably don’t need any spelling police because we are out of school. Let’s overlook the minor things and try to lift each other up, by being more positive... we’re all here because we love Paul, so let’s kiss and make up!
Peace and Love to all
and don’t sweat the small stuff!!! Or as Paul sings: “Ac-cent-tchu-ate the Positive!”
Indeed
Why can’t I CONTINUE to overlook Nancy’s remarks on my posts? Because bullies don’t back down until you show them you won’t take it anymore. This has been a pattern I have mostly overlooked over several years.
For a recent example, check out the Flower Power cruise 2018 thread when Nancy called me a liar after I said how much I enjoyed meeting Peter Asher several years ago when he was there. Was this friendly, peaceful behavior? Not on her part. Notice I made light of it and tried to take it as a joke.
Then, when I posted a link and proved he WAS at AROTR before last year, she admitted she was wrong but of course didn’t apologize. As a gesture of goodwill, I even emailed her the photo.
Now, she’s here doing the same thing, saying she has to fact check my post of Yoko’s tweets to verify them, in effect saying she believes I either made them up or edited them or whatever other crazy thing was rolling around in her head. Unbelievable. Apparently, she has never heard of copy and paste!
My message to you, Nancy, is select someone else, stalk them and call them a liar all over the board, and see how much THEY like it. STOP your OCD BULLYING!

I never called you a liar. If you look back at the Flower Power 2018 thread, I admitted I had no memory of what you were talking about. This is the post: (and I did say I was sorry!)

Glad to hear it, Nancy! Great shot. Peter, nice fellow.
He is, isn’t he? Did you get to meet him last year at AROTR? I did. On the cruise I literally almost ran into him coming out of the cafe and told him what a great show he did, etc. He was so gracious.
Great! I met him in 2015, I think, at the cookout. Had a photo made with him.
I’m talking about Peter Asher. Did you see his show in 2017 at AROTR? You met Laurence Juber and got a pic with him but that was either 2014 or 2016 because I was there when you did and I didn’t attend in 2015. What cookout are you talking about? I remember you were by a picnic table though.
Could have been 2014. Did not get a pic with L. Juber in 2014 or see Peter's show last year.
Peter Asher did not come to AROTR until 2017. Maybe you didn’t get a pic with him, but you told me you spoke to Laurence Juber by the picnic table where I had left you. And you never said, what cookout you were referring to? So who did you have a photo made with?
Nancy, I don't mind being called a liar, but this is hilarious since you sat beside me during Peter Asher's presentation the first time I attended AROTR. And it wasn't in 2017. If you want to refresh your memory on the cookout, go back and look at the 2014 AROTR link and read about it. Also, we barely know each other, so where is all of this animosity coming from?
It’s not animosity. I just have absolutely no memory of it! Sorry.

Went back and looked at Yoko’s original tweet and she did spell Kim Jong-un’s name wrong.
Mr. Kim Jong-in & Mr. Moon Jae-in,
I am so happy that you guys did it.
I saw my husband, John Lennon, jumping around in space with joy.
This I hope is the start of all countries shaking hands ½(and what’s with the “1/2” after that tweet and the “2/2” after the other one?)
Puzzled. How is Yoko's spelling significant? Everyone knows who she meant. Normally, one of two and two of two means just that. She is indicating that there are two tweets on the same topic. Since there were three, maybe she didn't want to link the first one.
Of course we knew who she meant! Kim Jong-un might not be so forgiving. And the first 1/2 looked like “one-half” to me, therefore the confusion. Never saw anybody do that either.
Did you miss this?
Paranoid? I hardly think so. Your message was loud and clear:

When I said “she spelled Kim Jong-un’s name wrong” I was referring to YOKO, not you!
Please check your PMs.

Nancy, this has moved way past your snide comments about misspellings. Your comments are rude. Telling me I didn’t have a photo made with Peter Asher because you forgot he was at AROTR another year before 2017 ... who else do you talk to like that, telling them they don’t know what happened in their own life? Even if your comment had been true, which it wasn’t, maybe think about what is a friendlier way to have phrased this? What is interesting is I never see you talking down to others the way you do to me. Not saying you don’t, just that I haven’t observed it. Honestly, I don’t care WHY you do it. I’m telling you to STOP. You don’t have license to constantly tell me I’m stupid, or I don’t know what I’m talking about, or that I’m wrong. I’m sure no one else appreciates being talked to like this either.

I will just say one more thing, and I will never bother you again. I would PM you, but it is not working for me right now. I did manage to send one to you yesterday, but you never answered it. Anyway, this whole mess just snowballed because first I wasn’t sure if you got a pic with Christopher or Peter. Then I asked about the cookout which I didn’t remember either. You didn’t answer me about that, so I was totally confused, thinking it was the day I left Sunday to go see Paul in Memphis. When people talk online, things are often perceived differently than if they were in person. I apologize for coming across to you the way I did. My memory sometimes fails me and that it what happened here. The other stuff about Yoko I already tried to explain here and in a PM. I don’t know what else to say but, again, that I’m sorry.

Nancy, apology accepted. I'm not asking you to never speak to me again. Just speak to me the same way you speak to everyone else in a courteous manner. Correct you did not use the word liar, but in essence, when you said Peter Asher was never there until 2017, it was the same thing. The picnic was the $50 Backstage Meet 'n Greet Cookout. L. Juber did sit at my picnic table during that and showed me pics of his dogs. He was very nice and I was grateful you had introduced me to him earlier (we had met at 9am at a different picnic table and you recommended bands/talks that you liked and he walked by), or I wouldn't have known who he was (looked so different from his Wings days). I did not ask him for a photo or autograph, but he is in the background of my photo of me and Peter Asher. And, truthfully, I am sure the fact that my picnic table was the only one in the shade was 99.9% of the reason why he asked if he could sit at my table (excellent manners). I ate my hotdog and chips and then they called everyone to line up for photos. I will try to get along and hope that you will do the same.

For what it's worth, I don't think Nancy is a bully. When I first joined this site, I thought she was one of those people who think it's impossible for anyone to know something they don't know. There was some discussion, I don't remember what it was about, but I casually mentioned that Delaware was the first state to join the union. Nancy then implied that I could not possibly know that without looking it up on Google.
My first thought was, "What the hockey sticks. Everyone who went to elementary school knows that."
Then I went back and reread the discussion. She was not attacking me. She was defending herself from what she thought was me attacking her. It was a complete misunderstanding.
That happens a lot online.
It happens offline, too.

Hi SurSteven! I love the song "Courage To Love," the guy that sang it is going to be a star. I admit, I don't watch America's Got Talent but Garth Brooks wrote a great song for the guy to sing. I see a star in the making. Thanks for recommending the song SurSteven, take care.

Unfortunately, that guy, Michael Ketterer, was just arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Very sad indeed. He seemed to have that air about him. I hope that him and his family get the help they need to get past this.
