So, us die-hard Americans shouldn't say any more about this set list as its for the

Canadians and UK and Europe and all we can do is hope that in 6 months time when he

gets to us, that is HAS changed!!!!!

I just realized the setlist that was posted has no "Mull of Kintyre"?

He's never done it in Quebec. Probably given the whole "french" thing...

        Ah... I see...

He will take out Michelle and do Mull as an encore in Edmonton and Winnipeg.

Looking at that setlist and the placement of My Valentine, looks like he may be doing it the same way as at Grand Central, because it's moved down and  out of the piano set slot.

This is depressing as hell. Not even the standard 4 songs from the new album? This is depressing as hell. Paul, you got a NUMBER ONE album! Play it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I admire your positiveness, but mid-tour he traditionally only swaps around 2/3 songs towards the very end of a well-worn tour ('Temporary Secretary' and 'Another Girl' in mid-2015 after 2 full years, 'I Wanna Be Your Man' and 'A Day In The Life' brought back mid-2017 after a full year, etc.)

This is it again, there's a reason he almost exclusively tours territory he hasn't done in ages.

You had me laughing Bruce but I definitely feel your frustration.  Again, it shows that Paul does not "prepare" for his live shows.  He just does what is easy...same old, same old.  He knows he is going to get plenty of first timers and they will be happy as long as they hear many Beatle songs.

You would think that he would be so proud of his "new" album and the fact that he is #1 in America with brand new songs.   But that takes actual preparation to play the new stuff.  He should have been practicing with his Band several months ago to be, at the very least, ready to perform 6 songs from ES.  He knew the album was good so why not show the world that your're still "creating music" at 76.   Also, isn't the tour called "Freshen Up".  Instead we get pretty much the same songs he has been doing over the last several years.  As a big time "full" Paul McCartney fan (that means SOLO too) I would have been very disappointed if I attended that show last night.  I would want to hear great ES songs like "I Don't Know", "Happy With You", "Dominoes", "Do It Now", "Despite Repeated Warnings" etc.

there is nothing to add! U're absolutly right. I feel absolutly deceived thru this marketing gag called "freshen up". I wouldn't buy my tickets for krakau again as I have to travel 800km to get "one on one" show again + only 3 new songs..indecision. I suppose that's going to be the last concert I pay for , if there isn't a real modifikation of the show in future!

I wouldn't mind his trotting out "Birthday" and "C Moon" and "Flaming Pie" again to replace some of the overly performed ones, he hasn't done those in awhile. And "Got To Get You Into My Life" to use the fun horn section to the fullest. He must have those down pat. As I mentioned elsewhere, it's cool he did "Let 'Em In" after a fairly long hiatus and that he's added horns.  Perhaps he and the band are rehearsing more from Egypt Station right now to add to the show. It's number one, which should light a fire under him to want to blast off ! I love the song "New" and would love him to sandwich that in again. He seems like he's into harpsichords again.

I hope everyone had a fun time last night! I hope to read some great observations/stories soon.

As for the set list, I normally don't mind the same old songs. But considering that he called this tour "freshen up" tour, made ticket-buyers think, it's a new tour. But it isn't really. The set list is very similar to last year, except for a few from ES. And because he is touring at the same time of a newly released album (that has just gone to #1) I was kind of hoping he would play more songs from it. It's a great album, it should be celebrated at his concerts a little more.

The thing is Paul doesn't have to do much to 'shake things up' with his set lists. He has so many good songs to choose from! He can keep the classics, but just adding a few songs he hasn't done in a while or ever, would please hard-core fans so much (I remember when he played AHDN for the first time a few years ago, the excitement it created with fans and it also made headline news! LOL) I love Paul and I would go to any of his concerts happily, (I have not had the privilege to go to many) regardless of the repetition of this set list, but I fully understand the frustration, as well.

BJ, this is so dang depressing. You have a critically acclaimed and #1 album in the US and you play just three freaking songs - OMG.  You mean to tell me he could not replace "45 Seconds" or  "In Spite of All Danger" with songs from "Egypt Station".  You and me have accepted he will never play the solo songs we would have loved to hear over years but honestly I thought he would really be into this album and really showcase it live.  Unfortunately, I believed you nailed it when you stated he will just do what is easy and knows the first timers will eat it up. It is good to read that others also think this name of the tour is a joke especially with the set list he trotted out last night.  The only thing I can think of that made me happy about the show last night was him having a live horn section like he did with the WOA tour.  I have not heard any clips from the show last night, curious how good his voice sounded.

                                Embarassment of Riches...

Only Paul could come into Quebec with a #1 album, that has more than 10 standout tracks and only play 3.

Yes, let me start by saying the concert last night was amazing.  Paul was in excellent form and the boys played their hearts out.  The  new three man horn section lifted the tunes just way beyond the normic sonic experience.  It was just on fire.  When they kicked in "Letting Go", it was like hearing the song for the first time.  Just know, if you hear this live, you are in for a different kind of elevated treat.

Soundcheck was great!  They started with a bluesy horn based loosley based instrumental "Letting Go" vibe, which must have lasted ten minutes... would pay money to hear that version again.

Met many great people, had great veggie food, and said hello to the "Who Cares" girls...

What a night, what a treat, please play more ES songs Paul!

Paul looks so cute and adorable performing this, and sounds great ! What a treat ! The guys with the horns prancing and dancing add a lot (though I wish they had long hair like Paul, Brian and Rusty) and really tear up those horns ! Quite spirited and peppy ! High steppers. I even saw them sing along at times. I was movin' and groovin' along with the song; I couldn't stay still, either. I believe it's been at least six years since Paul did "Let Em In" in concert-- and what a fantastic production with a fantastic light show, stage design and huge background screen displaying a marching band that began with, looked like, Admiral Halsey in a military uniform costume; at first I thought "is this gonna be the Admiral Halsey song too" LOL having confused it while ago as being part of "Let 'Em In" somehow !

I saw that earlier. They sound great!

Yes! Paul has been doing Let Em In at soundcheck for a while but not with the horns, of course. Can't wait to hear them for myself!
