i didn’t know until I just saw the video for this song, and Googled it, that Henry played drums, Denny Laine played bass, Denny Seiwell played xylophone and cornet, and  Paul played piano!

No offense to anyone but I never liked this song and hated when he had it in the setlist.

While I’m not crazy about the song, I used to think the line was “Bobby lived with Betty” (says Patty if you look up the lyrics) and that was/is my parents’ names!

I'd love to hear it live one of these days...maybe it could replace "New" or "Queenie Eye" as they find their way out with a new record bringing new songs in. I know it's not really a favorite across the fan base, but I think it's a fun tune live and would like to hear it sometime...just not again, and again, and again 😉

In the four times I heard C Moon live, it went over really well with the audience.  Paul seemed to love singing it, and the crowd sensed it. Reminds me of Temporary Secretary live.  Not a great song either, but the audience dug it.

Didn’t he do it during soundcheck in recent years?

I really like C Moon and having become a Wings fan in 1973, it was one of the first purchases I made in order to complete my collection of their back catalogue. Forty-five years later I still think it sounds unique, sounding nothing like the songs Paul had recorded before or since for that matter. I certainly prefer it over, for example, his new single I Don't Know, which sounds like a song stictched together from other songs that he's done. C Moon stands alone in that respect and it was a great pity it wasn't on the original Red Rose Speedway album, along with Hi Hi Hi.

Always fond of C Moon. Probably sounds unique because they had a bit of fun and swapped instruments.

I love the way Paul misses his cue but manages to work that into the song. Yet another example of him almost effortlessly coming up with a melodic little gem. Not a major song in his catalogue, but I often like the hidden gems that not everyone loves. He was so prolific at this stage and his voice was at its peak, I reckon.
