The Bell Centre holds between 15,000 - 20,000 people during concerts depending on the size of the stage.

That's still a gracious plenty, though I'd estimated even more of a crowd ! Doesn't Montreal have a stadium even bigger than that? Obviously, "almost a million" was hyperbole, a big exaggeration. I just got bedazzled by that vid. Showed Paul and band doing three songs in a row, it was super.

About deadpan expressions onstage--yes, smiles are dazzling, but if a performer smiles throughout the entire song it looks like they're on the Lawrence Welch show, where he made them smile ALL the time (laughs) !

You can't have "more of a crowd" than the capacity of a venue!

Montreal has the Olypmic Stadium which holds 50,000 but the sound is not good there. I saw ACDC there in 2009, what a zoo that was. I'm glad he didn't go that route and stuck with the Bell Centre. Amazing show overall. Had to pay through the nose but got 8th row on the floor which was great. We did end up behind someone with a sign though they only held it up occasionally though it was still a bit annoying. I can only hope we get another chance to see him in the not too distant future.
