Someone from Dover told me they're expecting 90,000 people, the hotels have been sold out for a year.

I saw on the Lolla website that tickets (electronic wristbands) are non-transferable. It mentions if you buy from third party website (stubhub) they are invalid. I may now wait for the Live Earth announcement. Rumor is The Rolling Stones, Sir Paul among others on 6/18 at Metlife (Giants Stadium)

I've been reading up on buying tix to Lolla from StubHub, and the consensus is that it's a legitimate way of getting tickets. If you buy a ticket/wristband for Lolla via StubHub, and it somehow turns up being counterfeit, StubHub will replace it. That's their guarantee.

Doubt Paul will play Live Earth the night of his birthday and right before his big appearance at Firefly

          7/15/11- Yankee Stadium
          6/8/13- Barclays Center
          7/5/14- Times Union Center
          8/7/16- MetLife Stadium
          9/15/17- Madison Square Garden

          Thank you Paul!

I think I decided that I will go to Chicago for Lolla-go to the park in an area where it's not to crowded and enjoy just "Another Day"

good luck finding that non-crowded spot There are two main stages, one at each end of the field... http://www.billboard.com/files/styles/promo_650/public/media/lollapalooza-atmosphere-650-430.jpg

I would definitely not want to be in that crowd...in Chicago...during the Summer. That does not look like fun to me at all. No way, forget about it!

Agreed. Maybe if I was in my 20s. But I am in my 50s!! No way! Ha ha!

Blech-that doesn't look fun at all. Chicago the end of July-no thanks!! Having to fight your way to the stage, shoulder to shoulder with sweaty, smelly, drinking people. I wouldn't step foot in that mess of people-not even for Paul..

Lolla hands down. its in Chicago at the park so no camping! stay in a hotel. way better set up, stages, food, accommodations, etc. Ive been to lollla 5 times and have always had a wonderful experience. and best of all when the day is done, back to your air conditioned hotel to a soft bed and order deep dish pizza. ah... the life.

                      i am fond of Paul

I bought a VIP for Firefly so I may be good with the crowd control-hell now I am doing all the bloody east coast shows. No Lola for me but if that additional show pops up around that time count me in

Now that might be a festival experience that I can get on board with.
