Hi everyone, It seems like quite a few of Paul's shows over the years have been professionally filmed, and I'm sure that many of you have seen more of these recordings than I have. So, I was wondering, what do you think is the best PRO-SHOT recording/show from each tour (regardless of whether or not it has had a physical release)? I'll list all of the tours below in case you want to cut-and-paste, but I'm not entirely sure which tours have been pro-shot and which haven't (I just know that some tours have more than one pro-shot video, hence the question): Wings University Tour (1972): Wings Over Europe Tour (1972): Wings 1973 UK Tour (1973): Wings Over the World Tour (1975-1976): Wings UK Tour (1979): The Paul McCartney World Tour (1989-90): Unplugged Tour (1991): The New World Tour (1993): Driving World Tour (2002): Back In The World Tour (2003): '04 Summer Tour (2004): The 'US' Tour (2005): Secret Tour 2007 (2007): Summer Live '09 (2009): Good Evening Europe Tour (2009): Up and Coming Tour (2010-2011): On the Run Tour (2011-2012): Out There Tour (2013-2015): Thanks very much! Andrew.

St Petersburg 04 is essential. Olympia 07 is essential. Lots of MAF songs. The band is tight and the sound is great. Quebec O8 is essential, (and to a lesser extent Kiev O8. ) There's a few from South America 2010 etc... There's the London 07 gig he did to promote MAF. I have it but can't recall the title. ...very short gig...small venue... I enjoy the bootlegs from 02 and 05 tour MUCH more than the official releases. 02 from MGM in Vegas and O5 from MSG. With the help of a great buddy of mine we are currently compiling a selection of very good youtube clips: - YMSK, Come and Get It, Kansas City, Long Tall Sally, It's So Easy, Hi Hi Hi, Another Girl, The Night Before...etc, etc, etc.

I can only help with 02 onwards: Driving World Tour (2002): I'm not aware of any full length pro-shot out there. Obviously Back in the US is taken from this tour. Back In The World Tour (2003): The full pro-shot gig from Red Square is available. The quality isn't great. There is also an incomplete video from the gig at the coliseum in Rome. '04 Summer Tour (2004): Madrid, St. Petersburg and some of the Glastonbury gig are available. The 'US' Tour (2005): I'm not aware of a full gig being available. I think The Space Within Us is as good as it gets. Chaos and Creation at Abbey Road is available from this time period. The Super Bowl performance is also available. Secret Tour 2007 (2007): BBC Electric Proms and The Olympia Paris are available in full. iTunes Festival is partially available. 2008 One Off Shows Liverpool Sound is partially available. Kiev and Quebec are available in full. Summer Live '09 (2009): Good Evening New York City covers this. The gig from Halifax is also available in full. Good Evening Europe Tour (2009): No pro shot out there. Up and Coming Tour (2010-2011): Buenos Aries 10th and 11th November both in full. Mexico City in full. One hour highlights from Brazil. Clips from Hyde Park and Isle of Wight. On the Run Tour (2011-2012): There is a pro-shot video from Rio de Janeiro but I'm not entirely sure if it is the entire gig. Mexico 2012 is available in full. There is an incomplete broadcast from Colombia in 2012. Out There Tour (2013-2015): Tokyo Dome 2013 and Budokan 2015 are available in full. They are easily the best modern day Paul McCartney concert videos. Also available from this era are one off gigs BBC Live in Concert, Live on Hollywood Boulevard, iHeart Radio Festival and Live on Jimmy Fallon.

Thanks very much, Rocky! Glad to hear that Tokyo Dome and Budokan are among the best as I have seen them and was lucky enough to be at both concerts (I can be seen awkwardly singing along to "Hey Jude" at the Dome!).

My favoritte tour is 1990 Get Back-tour Its shame that the bootlegs are so bad quality (Tokyo Dome gig, clips from Rio de Janeiro etc) Official Get Back DVD is ok, but its not a concert film, its a art film.

                        (Philly concert would be amazing!!!)

Aren't the old vids terrible? It is really amazing how cameras today do such a great job.

There are great video records of the 1993 World Tour. He didn't start touring in 2002!

Of course, the video technology in more recent years will be better than 20 or 30 years ago. In 20 years we will look back at video of his 2016 tour and think, "Wow! How primitive!"

I have this one in my collection & have always loved it. I think this link is better quality though. Love it! Yes, it is amazing to think what we have now will be "old hat" soon.

Lots of great shows in '08, but the Quebec gig was definitely NOT one of them. The boys were quite rusty that night. Errors and flubs o' plenty. Listen via headphones when you get a chance. You've been warned.

Listening, I get your point. Part of is it the mix, the background vocals are 1) too loud 2) not tight at points 3) someone sings off key quite a bit. Paul looks great with shorter hair and the set list rocked! Jet into Only Mama Knows into All My Loving. THAT is respecting the solo legacy!

I can live with a less-than-perfect mix. I'm talking about some very obvious wrong notes on the bass, piano, guitars.... And it wasn't just Macca.

I watched it. Sounds like Wix either starts a half step off or his finger slips. Rusty FORGETS the riff TWICE at the start. Vocals are shaky, and something is not quite right, vocals and instruments are slightly out of step. A shaky performance that feels like the band is never really in the pocket. I suspect it did not sound that off if you were in the audience.
