I am going!!! Saw Paul in Winnipeg in 1993 and can't believe I'll get to see him in Winnipeg again! I will have an extra pair of tickets now that I have just found out that my brother will not be able to attend the concert (sad ). The pair will be from Crowdsurge and will be hard copy tickets. Of course at face value. Seats are located A4 row 18.

WOW, this is FANTASTIC to see! I have been trying to find footage of the 1993 Winnipeg concert for 20 years and this is the first time I've seen any decent footage. Woo-hoo! Saw Paul in 1993 in Winnipeg and 20 years later, I've come back to see him again. FULL CIRCLE time. Thanks so very much veggieburgher for posting the cbc link!

Nice footage, thanks for sharing! Reminds me of the McCartney's Las Cruces, NM concert.

Would like to catch Macca's arrival/motorcade a little earlier in the afternoon . This will be our first time to Winnipeg....saw Paul at Bonnaroo, and it was EPIC!!! Thanks! Steve

Not much down by the field. But head downtown. Lots of great food, La Bamba for authentic mexican, The Lobby or Hy's for steaks, Boon Burger for world famous veggie/vegan burgers (gluten free as well),Wasabi on Broadway for sushi, The Carnival for a south American experience, the underground Square is cool to walk around and eat. Go to The Forks, the new Museum of Human Rights, the building is crazy! The Art Gallery build is also a crazy design. The Exchange district is great place to hang out too.

Awesome! Thanks for the tips! We are staying at the Fort Garry most of the week, and are looking forward to spending some quality time in Winnipeg. I am assuming the Fort Garry is in a good location, near some of the culture downtown?? Thanks again!

Looks like as the tour progressed he's stuck to wearing the "Abe Lincoln" coat and ditched the blue and pink bellhop's jackets...

It does look like an Abe Lincoln coat. I even thought of Johnny Cash.
