Do you ever disconnect?

I like to disconnect in this way too:
I work indoors ... when not working (and off the clock times such as lunch) I like to go outside, even on the not so good days. It is just me, but that is what changes things up for me.
If I have the option I will take another road to and from work (which I don't have many good options at this location, but will do so at a few month interval or when there is construction).
I like to go for walks and enjoy being outside ... Once in a great while I will have to make or accept a phone call ... when having a choice I will call after the walk ... because I like the time to not be connected.
As much as I have to do on weekends, I try to stay off a rigid schedule ... I do have to get things done - I try to stay away from the pressure demand ... that again is just me ... to change things up, to make the time off something to try and make it what I can. * believe me there are always exceptions that put me on a time schedule on my off work time, having to do Online stuff, phone calls and getting to appointments etc ....
So when I can be flexible with time and slightly away from those firm deadlines ... It is another way that I call disconnecting.
Enjoy today.

Sometimes it's just nice to remember the world as it was before everyone had SmartPhones, lol It's good to disconnect every so often and get back to basics because it helps us to focus on the things that really matter.
