Absolutely loved watching this, and thought Paul and the band really gave 200% to make it a wonderful success  .Just the idea of using Grand Central Station as the site, which fit in with the whole concept of the new Egypt Station album, shows that a lot of good creative planning was put into this.

Loved every single moment of this show, but a few seemed to stand out to me.   I got a bit emotional when he walked out  into the audience and sang "Blackbird."  It was as if he wanted to just be an ordinary guy with a guitar for a few moments, and sing a song that he hoped people would enjoy.   It's what he's always enjoyed doing, and means so much to him, and it's the heart of who he really is.   In a way it's going back to who he was before all the fame and the constant intrusion into almost every aspect of his life, etc., but I don't think that part of him has ever really left.   Anyway, thought that was a very special and humbling moment, that he was wanting to share a bit of himself in that way with the audience.

Another moment that stood out for me was the beautiful new arrangement of "My Valentine."   Many people might not understand why he used a megaphone in singing the song, but if you've read anything about Paul's early years, he grew up listening to records his father had, from the 1920s and 1930s of big bands and "crooners" who used megaphones and sang romantic love songs while people danced in beautiful ballrooms, etc.   I thought it was a very sweet and romantic gesture, to want to sing a love song like a crooner, lol.

Especially loved hearing "Dance Tonight" "From Me to You" and "Love Me Do"  (always have to laugh when Paul does a little kick at an upbeat during that song, lol).

All in all, Egypt Station (to me anyway) seems to be Paul reflecting back on his life, perhaps at different stations of it... and at the same time looking forward to where the next stop will take him, and all the interesting experiences he can  look forward to having in the future!  At any rate,  with this album, and the latest interviews, he seems a bit more  introspective, and open to talking about spiritual things, etc, which many people will probably identify with who feel the same way, and will find it endearing that he's willing to share and be open about who he is.

I liked the format of the show, and setting, and thought it was one of the most moving shows I've seen Paul do.   It must have been a proud moment for him, after so many years of achievement, to know that at 76 he has another album out and that people all over the world are still there for him, and will always love his music.   When he was a young man starting out, I'm sure he might not have expected that, but I'm so happy for him that it did.  After last night's concert, he has so many reasons to celebrate!   We love you Paul!

Yep, it's just going around and around. I hope after 24hrs they'll just let the whole recording stay up at least for a little bit.

That was the best "Hi,Hi,Hi" since hes brought it back from the '70s. But my highlight was that outstanding version of Letting Go". Real horns!!! He sounded great! Fun show.

I think he's skipped it at some other secret gigs, and he didn't do it at all before the '89 tour.  I'm more surprised he didn't play Yesterday.

I wondered why a number of moments and glitches in the show, described in some articles, were not included in the "live" feed. These moments would have made the show all the more endearing and fun, but apparently they delayed the transmission and edited out those moments.  I know that people who were following  the show in real time wondered why  it had stopped for a short while, so that was the reason. Would be fun to see these "outtakes".

In any event,  the fantastic show was a triumph and glorious to watch!!!

I really loved letting go with the real horns. Hopefully he’ll bring them on the freshen up tour. It would be great. I can’t wait for the set list when the tour starts in Canada
