Music in the Early '70's
-
I was in high school in the Early 70's, and I have a great appreciation for the music of those years. I consider those years to be the peak for artists like Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, all four ex-Beatles, Eric Clapton, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Yes, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Joni Mitchell, The Who, David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Santana, Grateful Dead, Elton John...Many of these began before the 70's, and of course some are still making music today. But to me the Early 70's was the most incredible time for music!

The 70's was a GREAT decade for Rock n' Roll, thank God Greta Van Fleet is bringing back old school classic Rock n' Roll!
-
I was in 9th-12th grade 1970-1973 and I love classic rock too! My favorites (besides the solo Beatles) are The Who, Rod Stewart, Elton John, The Eagles, Queen, Journey and CCR.
Here’s a whole list:

Bowie was great, so was the mighty LED ZEPPELIN! Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd were also great! Lets not forget Sabbath and Deep Purple, so many great bands were around in the 70's!

Awesome! I was thinking today about the place and era I would like to have lived...London from 1967 - 1974. That was an unbelievable time for music and culture in that city. I would have loved to live there those years!

I would too! Actually even earlier, from 1962 and beyond. Of course I was only 7 then, which would present a problem for “Beatle watching!”

Does that mean that you'll be peeing in your diapers in 18 years seeing that you were 7 years old in 1962?

Nope, I had surgery in 2010 that will prevent that from ever happening! Seriously, it’s called a Tension-free transvaginal tape procedure. TVT for short. Highly recommend it for any of you ladies having bladder leakage problems. Talk to your GYN doctor about it.

Not since 1998 when I was 43 and had a hysterectomy! I think we are violating HIPAA laws here!
(and we are seriously OT!)

Yikes! And TMI violations!

Well, nobody should go around talking about someone else’s medical problems or history without their permission. Technically you could get sued. But newscasters do it all the time, so I don’t know - maybe they cleared it with their publicist first.
