"Paul McCartney may have made more people happy than any other artist, alive or dead" (paraphrased)--very high praise, and he's been made happy back, in return, in many ways. Maybe his greatest joy is simply the act of writing the songs and then seeing them come into fruition in the studio, on record. That's the most fun.  There's almost nothing as much fun as writing a good song, a real song, and all of his are real. One wishes the writer of this amazing worshipful article had also written about his new music specifically, "Egypt Station."
