I can only moderate a post as long as I fill out this:
Please provide the reason you are editing this thread. This will be sent to the user.
However it seems that these notes are sent to the users days or even weeks after the moderation took place if at all! As I have said before, unfortunately a merged thread does not jump to the head of the forum where it sould turn up due to the date of its latest post. Instead it stays buried in the forum.
I have reported this issue before; as you can see without any success but I will try again!
