It seems there will be 4 concerts in Brazil in March 2019. Two cities have been mentioned so far: São Paulo and Curitiba.

There are also rumours of concerts in Argentina and Chile during the same month.

      2010 Brazil (3x) 2011 Peru, Chile, Brazil (2x) 2012 Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil (3x) 2013 Brazil (3x) 2014 Uruguay, Chile (2x), Peru, Ecuador, Brazil (5x) 2015 UK (2x), Holland (2x), France 2016 Argentina (3x) 2017 Brazil (3x) 2018 UK (3x) 2019 Brazil (3x)

Brazilian media is now all over the news, and "the last week in March" has been mentioned. The concerts in São Paulo will be in the same stadium of his 2014 and 2017 tours. The other city (Curitiba) hasn't had a McCartney concert since 1993.

Well deserved.  Great crowds there!  Much better than the embarrassed to express themselves North American crowds.

What??? You wrote that just to get replies, right? Our group has never been embarrassed to express themselves, and as we get older, it's even more true. We're still hoping he adds more US venues. We've got a few vowing to get onstage with him!

According to this person, there will also be concerts in two more unconfirmed (and not mentioned by name) cities:

                    http://www.collectorsroom.com.br/2018/11/paul-mccartney-fara-shows-no-brasil-em.html

I'm guessing he misunderstood the original info, but I would not be surprised if there are negotiations going on for at least one more city.

I was asked not to mention this, but now that someone else did, I guess it's no longer a problem: March 30, 2019 is the possible date so far for the concert in Curitiba, Brazil.

                        Brazil seems like almost confirmed.

Here in Argentina, every news about Paul coming has the same brazilian source, no dates or stadiums rumoured. And our currency exchange... I don't think it will happen, unfortunately.

I'll try and save, so maybe I'll get to Sao Paulo again. I had a fantastic time last year there.

Has the economy gotten worse since his 2016 shows in Argentina? I know that made it difficult for him to return between 2011 and 2015, but i thought things had improved in the last couple of years. I mean, other big artists have been touring there, right?

This year has been really rough.

In 2016 I remember I paid my ticket 3100 pesos (Campo VIP). At the time it was something like 250 usd. A 250 usd ticket right now would be 9250 pesos.

The main issue anyway is that no one can assure the promoters that the currency exchange it's going to stay like this until March, when Paul is suppose to tour in South America. I don't really see them taking the risk.

Thanks for sharing the info, serpico71. I have no idea whether it's true or not, but here is your info with slight editing just to make it easier to read. I hope you don't mind.

19 March 2019 - Santiago, Chile: Estadio Nacional

22 March 2019 - Buenos Aires, Argentina: Estadio Ciudad de La Plata

23-26 March 2019 - São Paulo, Brazil: Allianz Parque

27-30 March 2019 - Curitiba, Brazil: Estádio Couto Pereira

If true, I'm assuming the São Paulo concerts would probably be on March 25 and 26 (so he can rest from the previous ones) and I would not doubt a second night in Argentina on March 23. Maybe one more Brazilian city on March 28, before Curitiba on March 30? Just speculating.
