My first car was a 1956 tudor Ford Fairlane and then I had a 1957 Chevy tudor hardtop.

Also had a nice 1963 Volvo at one time then.

The first car I drove was a 1963 Studebaker Lark, then a 1967 Dodge Dart which I took my driving test in (1971)

First car I bought was a 1972 Dodge Colt - brand new was just under $2000.

Next I got a 1975 Chevy Vega new for about $3000. My first stick-shift. I blew the clutch out in 2 weeks but they fixed it for free! 😂

I also, have tons of car stories to share! 🙂  Was thinking about a car that my cousin had in the late 60's before he bought a brand new 1970 silver colored GTO with 400 cid engine 4 speed and tiger paw tires. He had a yellow Isetta. It was a 2 seat bugmobile with a 750cc motorcycle engine. He had to back it up his steep driveway because it didn't have enough torque to do it forwards. People would gawk at us when we drove it around town! Haha!! Love all the stuff that everyone has posted!! Cool!!

I also owned a 1978 Chevrolet Corvette L 82, 350 cu. with a Turbo 400 Tranny! It was a Silver Anniversary Edition. It was pretty fast, not as fast as my 1971 Chevelle but it was fast!

Statistics current as of October 27, 2013.

DeWayne Louis "Tiny" Lund (November 14, 1929 – August 17, 1975) was an American stock car racer. He was a journeyman racer-for-hire in the top level NASCAR Grand National Series, running partial seasons for a number of years, including a victory in the 1963 Daytona 500. Lund saw his greatest success in the NASCAR Grand American Series, where he was the season champion in three of the four full years the series was run – Lund won 41 of the 109 Grand American events that ran.[1]

Lund stood 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighed about 270 lbs., earning the ironic nickname "Tiny"

The reason why I'm very familiar with Tiny Lund is because one of my late best friends looked exactly like him.

And I thought the smart cars were too small, those Isetta Bugmobiles were real small cars! When I first saw one, I thought those cars were part of a ride at a amusement park!

I ride the MTR.  I don't know what kind of engines they have, but I bet they're big.

After our Monte Carlo we ordered a 76 Datsun 280Z. There was an 8 month waiting period for them because they were in such high demand. In 1976 is cost $8,000.00. We were afraid to tell my parents how much it was.
