I thought this might be a rerun...you know this time of year with all the "best of" shows. BUT no! It's seems to be new!

Awesome thanks for the heads up. It may be delayed by NFL football game in my area but I will check it out.  I pray it is about his current album and promoting "Who Cares" video than talking about his Beatle past again !!

Add more time to your DVR - there is a football game on right before it!

ETA: I see Yankeefan already mentioned that! (I added an extra hour!)

They added new stuff on 60 Minutes overtime! Paul talks about listening to the radio, writing Michelle, song inspirations and getting emotions from the audience

Ahhh.  As usual, a 15 minute segment that includes about 15 seconds about Wings, 15 seconds about his sensational new album, and 14 and 1/2 minutes about stale stories about the Beatles. Really?

"If you want the Beatles, go see Wings"-George Harrison 1974

"This is for all the Wings fans!" - McCartney introducing "1985" for the first time on American soil (Phoenix 2010)

It was a repeat too. I thought it was a new interview.

I have mentioned this before on several threads and most of what you mentioned above can be blamed on McCartney.  He does have control of what he wants to talk about in interviews/TV and can say he does not want to talk just about the Beatles. The problem IMO is he relishes talking about his Beatle past so this is what we get most of the time. I doubt there is anything he says in these interviews that most of us on this board have not heard already. This type of thing really frustrates me because he has a national audience in the US on a hit show and he does not use this opportunity to show people he is more than Beatle Paul - oh well - lol.

Oh well. The one Beatle thing I did like is when they showed the rooftop concert. There is a moment there while singing "Get Back", Lennon looks at McCartney and is smiling.  I always thought that it was a shame they did not play live one more time and "Get Back"  to just being a band again. I have a feeling if it was only a few concerts, they would have enjoyed themselves !! That brief moment showed me that even with all the BS going on with all of them, they still could have some fun together.

👍 It really was a shame. When they broke up, none of them had turned 30 yet!! The “What Ifs?” will always be there.

Yep. We all know McCartney wanted them to play live together one more time but could not convince the others times had changed and audience would not still be a bunch of screaming girls - lol
