Love that one, Nancy! I think it's the only one that was taken with the wedding party inside the Registry Office.
(Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

And to think they had a blazing row the night before and nearly called it off.
The beginning of what Paul would later describe as a life of 'domestic blitz' !!

I'm glad they patched things up before the wedding, I'm sure they would have anyway. They were definitely each other's soulmates, and meant to be! I can't imagine what his life and his music would have been like without her.

It was actually on the night of the 10th, according to Maggie McGivern, who he visited that night, crying. He was there about 30 seconds and said “I can’t do this. I have to go.” She found out 2 days later he got married and she was devastated.
And he never said their whole life was “domestic blitz” - just occasionally.

The color one with the green wall that got posted in the Paul McCartney Picture Thread is inside the Registry Office (I think)

So Heather is a big fan of John Lennon? For some reason that doesn't surprise me, I think all of the Beatles' children are fans of all the bandmembers' music.

Paul and Linda have both said in interviews that marriage isn't a fairytale, it requires work and understanding, but I'm sure that their love and commitment to each other (along with a good sense of humor) made it much easier to work through anything.
