My Birmingham ticket has been sent too - can't wait to find out where I'll be sitting! 😉

It blows my mind that you guys have to buy the tickets and not know exactly where you're sitting! I'm glad it's not like that in the U.S.

Me too. That part of it drives me crazy.

In Manchester when they announced they had mailed the tickets I emailed them and asked where my seats were. They sent me a reply with the ticket info. They were off by a couple of seat numbers but at least they had the row and section right.

My stuff for Birmingham just came by Special Delivery. I'm thrilled with the seat I've been allocated.

I make my own seating plans if the venue doesn't have a proper one, i'm nerdy like that. At the O2 Arena, London i just found a photo of the floor seating and just drew a diagram with blocks, rows and seating across, worth it for the ease of knowing where you sitting! At Ticketmaster UK for shows at The O2 Arena in London they only show a proper seating arrangement when most of the good ones have gone, it's a strange system? : AXS.com who are the O2 London's main ticket seller, they'll show you which area on a map, but it's not 100% clear unless you're on the floor. Smaller venues have a much better ticket selling system in general over here in the UK,, proper chart with rows number and seats sold, simple!

In 2009, it was worse; I didn't find out until I actually reached the venue and had my ticket handed to me.

The issue was with the soundcheck packages..for this UK tour, we were not able to select our seats at all. Just how many tickets did we want and which package and please pay. The tickets are being allocated for us. It is a lot of money to pay out and have no idea where you are sitting!

If they are selling the tickets than an accurate seating diagram has to exist, but with these packages I don't even know what section or row let alone seat number I bought. This happened for this tour as well as the last Manchester VIP packages.

I realize this is off-topic, but it's not something worth a new thread. I have just been told by CrowdSurge that all the venues confirmed that I will be able to collect my tickets at their box offices. I received an e-mail confirmation for each concert, which I will print and show at those box offices with a photo ID. I hope everyone who bought tickets directly from the venues, as well as VIP packages from Event Travel, will receive them soon without any problems.

Sorry i was just making a general point on seating. I do agree that you should know what you're buying?

Thanks! And your point on seating charts was a good one, good strategy you have! just that in this case, even the best seating plan is of no help if I can't use it to purchase! 😉

No soundcheck? So what instructions needed for the day of the show?

Well if you have Hospitality you still have to arrive at the arena for early entry to your food and drink reception. So the instructions will be what time to arrive and what entrance door to look for. And speaking of Event Travel - I am in the US and got an email today that my Birmingham tickets are being despatched, which means I should receive them in a couple of days, well in enough time before I leave for the UK.

So how early is the early entrance?

What exactly did Event Travel send to you guys? Just the ticket or something else, such as the merchandise gifts?

And are both of you in the UK?

Only the ticket, the hospitality pass and the instructions (meeting point, times etc etc). I'm from Milan, Italy.

Would you mind posting a pic of what you got sent for the hospitality package? I have that ticket too and I'm curious! Also which row are you in if you don't mind me asking?

I'm sorry but I am unable to post a pic. I got block A3 row c

Can I ask which package you bought to get a seat in Row C? I thought it was either front row or the sound package that gives row d - g. Hope you don't mind me asking!

Hi there. No I don't mind you asking, why should I? I bought the hospitality package because it was written that it gives you row c-g if I remember well. I bought it a few seconds after the pre-sale was open and probabily that's why I got row c.

Ah I see, thanks for replying, in the blur of panic booking I missed that one. I'm row D so I hope you're not really tall as I might be right behind you . I went for hot sound so although pleased to be in row D I'm a bit disappointed not to be in the middle block. After all it cost a fortune and I blew everything on the one nights show. Anyone else in A3?

Hiya would you mind once you know where you're sat posting where you got given (you can do this after the gig so no one stalks you hehe!!!) - it's only cos i'm curious where the "hospitality package" got given for liverpool, me and my sister almost booked but because it didn't even specify a row just "premium seat in block A, B, or C" we worried it could actuallly be row 20 (as "premium" could've just meant price band), so as you're the only person i know online to ask, i thought i'd ask you!! I bet it's really good though, and for your sake i hope it is !! Enjoy
