You’re right - I was looking at the page #! Duh!
The top earning solo artist is Ed Sheeran at #3 with $110 million (over twice what Paul made!)

I couldn't get the link to take me directly to the article in question but this one did.
This Billboard article from last summer is more interesting as it lists the sources of income. Paul, placed at #17, total income was $20.5 Million. This was split between Sales = $2M, Streaming = $1.2M, Touring = $16.8M and Publishing $464.9K.

You can understand why Paul likes touring.

Yep! The Billboard one is much less than the Forbes one though. Forbes said he made $47.5 million in 2018. Why such a difference?

I think the answer lays in my 'last summer' remark. The Billboard info (posted last July) probably relates to either 2017 as a whole or maybe the financial year running from April 2017 to April 2018....assuming the US has the same financial year as here in the UK? The Forbes data though is presumably for either the whole of 2018 or the financial year April 2018 to April 2019. Given that its just been posted, its probably the latter.

I see! I took the Forbes article to be the whole of 2018, though, hence the title of the thread I started.

You might well be right.
