Beatlemania at Taylors Library, Greenville SC
-
To celebrate Paul's upcoming performance at the Bon Secours Wellness Center in Greenville, SC, I arranged a Beatles event at my library in nearby Taylors. Around 40 people celebrated the 55 year anniversary of the Beatles arriving in the USA with a greenscreen photo on Abbey Road, trivia, fan food, twisting, karaoke, the reliving of memories, and a lot of fun.
Who says librarians can't have fun?
Looking forward to the concert. I experienced the Beatles perform at the ABC Theatre in Blackpool in 1963. I was 6 years old, on holiday from Scotland, and my Dad had to put me on his shoulders so I could see over all the screaming fans. I have been a follower of the Beatles - and especially Paul - ever since. This is my second Macca concert in South Carolina. A big financial commitment for a librarian - but I know it will be worth it. Row H with a union jack!
Maybe I'm amazed at his beautiful music!

You lucky dog! Did you get Hot Sound Package? I was 9 when they came to Cleveland, OH in 1964, then 11 in 1966. Begged mom to take me in 1966. She said “We’ll go next year!”
She’s 88 and I still haven’t let her live it down!
My friend and I will be at the Greenville concert (Gold VIP) Do you know the area at all? We need a relatively inexpensive place to eat after we park by the arena. Doesn’t seem to be much around close by on Google Maps. Jacs is only open until 3 pm. We may have to stop off 185 somewhere (coming from NE of Atlanta-117 miles)
