Although a lot of the set lists from these early shows sounds like the same old same old...I'm pretty psyched to hear 'You Won't See Me' in the set list...I know it was part of the set list for that short 2004 European tour....but he's never played this live here in the states (at least as solo artists)

It's causing lots of excitement and audience enthusiasm like hearing A Hard Day's Night for the big opener--which he had not performed in the States since Beatlemania times with the Fabs Somebody wrote 30 dates doesn't seem like a lot to them, to me it sounds like a lot of touring and concerts, and I believe his new tour rouses loads of keen avidity to see him again, still seems very very special that he's on the road again, to so many ( That same poster opined Paul's touring doesn't "feel special" anymore.)

_____________________________________________ Rich, Thanks for the link. I saw that "You Won't See Me" was added to the new Setlist but I hadn't heard it until your post here. I must say that I always thought that the original track wasn't Macca on his "A" game. Or Maybe it was the production but I thought the vocals and harmonies were slightly off (for the Beatles of course). I actually like this live version better.

Before he sings that song, he gets into a bit of a story. He describes the many different ways that songs can come along. He explains that this song started with a simple riff he created and then he plays the riff and then goes into the song. Was magic in Vancouver!

This song makes up for Love Me Do (a song I don't even really like, and sounds awful on this tour). I love the way he's doing it too.

Mine as well and long wished for. Now if he would only open with I Want To Hold Your Hand.

It's my favorite song in the set list and is an example of what I wish he would do more of - tweaking a song from the original version. Absolutely perfect
