Apparently 'TIA' was performed for the fans who attended the video filming. And DMUAAR was done in a 2013 charity concert. Are these performances 100% confirmed? Have audio or video recordings circulated even if only among 'elite' collectors?

      Paul:
      12 Dec 93 - B. Aires, ARG
      10/11 Nov 10 - B. Aires, ARG
      19 Apr 14 - Montevideo, URU (+ soundcheck)
      15 May 16 - Cordoba, ARG
      17/19 May 16 - B. Aires, ARG

      Ringo:
      7/8 Nov 11 - B. Aires, ARG
      8/9 Nov 13 - B. Aires, ARG
      1 Mar 15 - B. Aires, ARG

That is nice and just think how incredible it is that Mr. McCartney never did "Take It Away" in one of his tours. Top 10 hit in the US and he did a video for the song. If my memory is correct, that video got played a decent amount of times on MTV.

        Maybe I'm amazed !!

The "Dress Me Up" rumor does ring a bell. But I don't think it was a full performance. It must've not been much to it because I would've been all over that. Unless I've forgotten ... which seems inconceivable to me.

Sounds really interesting as he also did the backing for Lucy! I'd wish there was a recording of this performance (other than the Sgt Pepper clip)

Friends of mine were at the Take It Away taping and told me all about it, but I don't remember if Paul and the "band" lip synced the song for the video taping or if they actually played it. I will have to ask them.

I am willing to bet they lip synched it for the video.

Is this the video you refer to?

Definitely lip synched, just like all music videos which use the original record (music) that was released. The only time you'd see it live would be if someone videotaped a live performance.

I was lucky enough to be at the filming of the take it away video and Paul and the band actually performed the song at the same time as the track played over the sound system they also performed a number of rock roll classics in between takes.I have been searching for a recording for 34 years and have still not found one, although I have heard someone made a tape on the day.

Well, they had the chance with the 'Tug Of War' deluxe edition... Video-wise crumbs is all we got.

Thanks for posting! I was waiting to hear back from my friend who was also there, because my memory of her stories is fuzzy. I DO remember her saying that day is still one of her favorite Paul experiences ever.

The setlist shown on setlist fm is correct other than Paul performed hill street blues as elstree blues as we were at elstree studios, reeling and rockin was not played the song performed was actually around and around which is very similar,on the day another song cut across shorty was also played. It was a day I will never forget,in one of the breaks I actually got to meet Paul,Linda and ringo had a few words, shook hands and got their autographs. For 3 songs I actually sat in the front row next to ringos wife Barbara,I still can't get over how lucky I was, there was Paul performing a few feet to my left,George Martin to my right and ringo right in front of me.happy days indeed.

Was an impromptu Ob-La-Di tackled that day, in total or part?

No,the only Beatle related activity was George Martin playing part off here there and everywhere to encourage Paul to perform it,but he wouldn't and ringo sang a few lines of yesterday.

I might be thinking of the filming of Stranglehold. Wasn't that a mini-concert too? Anyway, you certainly were blessed to have been there for that!

I haven't heard of anymore other mini concerts of this type other than the tour rehearsal concerts Paul used to do for fun club members.
