10th June – Piazza Plebiscito, Naples, Italy - confirmed
-
I bought my ticket for Naples by Virgin Radio. Is there anyone who have bought with promo FRESHENUPNAPOLI ?
-
TicketOne is charging the following pre-sale fees for the concert in Napoli:
-
Tribune (Intero Presale FC) - € 220.00 + € 33.00
-
Pit Area (Intero Presale FC) - € 130.00 + € 19.50
-
Posto In Piedi (Intero Presale FC) - € 78.00 + € 11.70****
The service fee costs € 9.12**** per ticket.
There is also a shipping charge to send the tickets by mail. No option was shown to either collect them at the venue or print them at home. Did anyone have a different experience?

I got a Hot Ticket Standing. Looks like there is a special area right next to the PIT Area (side section) and not in front of the stage. That would be very disappointing.
-
I almost bought a Pit Area ticket just now but the price kept going up and up. No e-ticket and they demand 19,99 € for mailing it, so all in all it would cost almost 180 €. That's not a price I'm willing to pay for such a standing ticket.
I was really tempted, it's a beautiful venue.

Using the FRESHENUPNAPOLI code, I got a Hot Ticket Pit Area from ticketone.it. No e-ticket available and no delivery options as well. Nothing but collecting at the venue. Probably because it's a VIP package? Usually with ticketone you are able to chose, but the deliver has an extra cost, the e-ticket a €1-€3 surcharge, while the collect at the venue has no fees at all.

No, I didn't get an e-ticket option either. Only delivery by mail which would have cost 20 € extra.

General sales now available for the concert in Napoli.
Even though it's no longer a pre-sale, they're still charging the pre-sale fee.
Is this standard procedure for concerts in Italy or is it a mistake?

According to this news report, tickets for Paul's concert in Naples are being purchased in highest quantities by fans from the USA, followed by the UK, Spain, Germany and Italy.
It also mentions that the Italian promoter worked for 5 years in order to secure Paul's appearance in Lucca, and Paul insisted on playing in Naples as well.

Great! I'm from Brazil and I'll go to Naples as well

They look great! Are the guitar pics included as bonus or are they just your decoration?

Dumb question, sorry. But would be a cool idea to give one guitar pick with a ticket.

They look very nice indeed! The ticket company asked customers to be careful when showing pictures of their tickets, so I used the guitar picks to hide some information. I like your idea of a free guitar pick with each ticket!
The local tour promoter said at the press conference that Paul will sing 'O Sole Mio' at the Napoli concert, hopefully it's true.

Thank you! I'm sure it'll be a great show! Can't wait!

I don't think that the "early entry" tickets are worth the value. You can have a very good spot with the 120€ ticket.
I always buy early entry. I am too old for queuing for hours
you will end at 2nd or 3rd row, because the soundcheckers are in earlier than the early entriers.
So, if i should buy the hot sound standing i'd have the best chance to be on the rail for the main concert?

Does anyone know the capacity of this venue or how many people are expected on this square? Will this be a bigger venue than Lucca or the other way round? I read somewhere that about 45.000 people are the max. capacity in Lucca. I truly wish Paul did an arena tour instead of these huge festivals and stadiums... but still better than nothing.

I seem to remember the local promoter mentioning that around 22,500 tickets were made available.

Thank you, it doesn't sound that bad.

Yes indeed. The area itself doesn't look that big, so I think everyone will get a good view. Perhaps someone who has been to Piazza Plebiscito can offer a more accurate perspective?
