That means Paul's first 3 concerts in France are no longer allowed to happen. Lyon can still happen on June 07, if he's willing to go ahead with it.

Maybe only Paris will be cancelled / postponed, Lille & Bordeaux are not closed venues but opened stadiums.

Well my airline went bust (Flybe). I'm not going to splash out anymore on airfares in case they do cancel the concert. I'm already over £150 down due to the airline going bust so I think I will give this a miss and if it gets cancelled I will get my ticket refunded.

For anyone else who is travelling I hope the concert goes ahead and you have a great time.

Lille was supposed to be closed for this event, but they could easily open the roof to solve that.

A silly measure altogether in many ways.

Yeah I believe a show is  allowed to go ahead if the roof is open and even in Lille where the roof is usually closed, it seems the stadium is going ahead with events by leaving the roof open.

Perhaps he can change the venue in Paris to one which is not closed? Then all French concerts would still happen.

Rumors that Paul's concert in Paris, May 26th, will be postponed to June, possibly before Glastonbury and this concert, unfortunately are on the list of main canceled/ rescheduled events

Paul's last concert before Glastonbury (June 27) will be on June 21, so it would make sense to reschedule Paris to around June 24.

Yes! But there is still hope, because the law that forbids concerts until May 31 has changed, now it forbids concerts until April 15 and the concert producers doesn't understand because of insurance that couldn't work anymore

Very interesting. If I understood correctly, the French promoter said he was trying to postpone the Paul's May concerts to June, as the insurance companies would have covered the expenses due to the government banning such events until May 31. Now that the ban ends on April 15 he will have to try to keep the original dates, as such changes would no longer be covered by the insurance.

Exactly! This must be the reason for the delay of an official announcement. Maybe on Monday or in the next few days they will oficiallly announce.

Now all the events with more than 1000 people are forbidden in France even in open areas till April 15th.

This is the current situation but I'm afraid it could change and become worse in the next days or weeks.

Is this still happening?  I thought Pres. Macron had cancelled all concerts through mid-July in France.
