You know what? The writer of the article mislead me - I think this house is Ringo's home called Sunny Heights which was on St. George's Rd. in Weybridge, Surrey! John never lived there! Ringo sold him Tittenhurst and later John recorded the Imagine album there!

No I don't think the house for sale is Sunny Heights, looks completely different.

And you are right, I don't think this house is Tittenhurst, either, even tho it looks somewhat like it; Tittenhurst is in Berkshire.  John did have a house in Weybridge (where he lived with Cyn), but I don't think this is it.   The house for sale seems to be on Rodona Road:

Wow, that is an amazing house at any rate, and inspired by John Nash no less... that is a fairy tale house like the realtor said... it certainly looks like a house that a BeaTle would live in!! Greenhouse, pool, beautiful grounds, pretty amazing pictures too.

John sold Tittenhurst to Ringo, not vice versa, but I think you knew that anyway.

But you're right, the photos in that article is not of the house at Tittenhurst Park....not unless the house was demolished and completely rebuilt !! Then again, its not Sunny Heights either or Kenwood for that matter. I really don't know where it is or how it could be connected to the Beatles. All very strange.

Sorry, yes, I got that backwards. I agree, that  house for sale is not either of John or Ringo's that were near each other in Weybridge. Kenwood was mock Tudor. Very strange indeed! (Most peculiar Mama!) 😂

Judging by the estate agents link above its clear that there is no connection with the Beatles. They would have surely flagged up the connection had there been one.

The error is with the beatlesmagazine website who mis-identified the property and assumed the connection with John & Ringo.

Yes. And that's the surprising part, you would think one of the website's other writers would have noticed the mistake before they posted it.  Dents their credibility a bit.

Fact checking doesn't seem to be so en vogue these days!  LOL 😂 For those of us realtors out there, it was a great link to look at houses all over England tho!

That was a really one of a kind extraordinarly beautiful home! I bet they have a big spread in there... and ALL the realtors come to that open house preview!!!
