Allen Klein was a scumbucket but McCartney was no angel either. To expect the rest of the Beatles would go along and have your future father-in law manage the group is not only naive but insulting. McCartney also should have ran it by the others about his comments on his solo album which basically said the Beatles were no more. Something that huge should have had a formal statement written by all four of them at appropiate time. I think there was more issues to their breakup than just Allen Klein. McCartney wanted to tour, the others did not. Harrison was tired of only having a couple of songs on Beatle albums. John was into his life with Yoko and could care less about being a member of the "Fab Four". Ringo got tired of McCartney going behind his back and doing re-doing drum parts on songs with his drumming. While Klein was part of the puzzle regarding the breakup, he was not the sole reason.

Paul wanted the 4 of them to agree on a manager other than Klein AND have Lee Eastman and his son John be their lawyers. I don't think he ever said just the Eastmans as their manager. Yes, the other stuff added to it. Nobody ever said Klein was the sole reason. (unless you're referring to the author of the article-I can't even remember, nor do I care, what he said)

Klein did make some serious $$ for the Beatles
the article does prove how the entertainment industry is full of some unscrupulous figures
love to hear about the Klein/Rolling Stones fall out too
anyway I like Spector's work on "Let it Be"
