I was giddy and thrilled to see the UK dates, both Birminghan and Liverpool only 90 mins from home. Justified to myself a weeks wage to take my 15 yr old daughter to her second McCartney gig.I have been to see Paul over 20 times starting in 1976 at Wembley as a 15 yr old. Had to take the weekend off work to wait in vain for the pre-sale farce but managed to get what I thought were good seats from the general sale. BKD row T or Vfor Birmingham.I know i'm not Bamber Gascoigne but given the clock and time out was ticking I foolishly presumed that B would mean block B and not block D.So feeling stupid that i've spent £280 on tickets at the back of the floor ( far left to boot). Just seen on Birmingham site that you can now buy block B row S tickets . What a mug!

Next time make sure you check out the seating chart for the venue ahead of time so you know what you are getting. Sorry you got messed up.

Thanks Nancy, I think it is a ploy to get people to think they are buying better tickets. This is my only conspiracy theory!

Can you ring the Birmingham venue & see if they'll swap them for you? Might be worth a shot 😉 xxx

BK is always used as an abbreviation of "Block" so BKD would be Block D. Sorry you were disappointed though.

Doh! That's my conspiracy theory gone. Did not realise the abbreviation in my blind panic with the coundown clock ticking. Still sore for paying £280 for shocking tickets. Anybody got a pair of binoculars? cry

I think most fans at these venues end up watching Paul close up on the screens anyway, apart from when the pyrotechnics display during Live and let Die go off.

To be fair i dont think they are trying to conn anyone. I bought tickets for birmingham and have never been there before but whn i bought tickets that were BKD i knew it meant Block D as it is the standard way that shows sell there tickets, so unfortunately it was nothing more than you not understanding what you were buying

Tickets are now selling at £110 for block A. I have been done up like a kipper! You know all this ticket rubbish takes the fun away.

WHY are they selling for that in block A? Any idea? Is that the original price?

No idea why,I stupidly thought they sold them from the front first. First up,best dressed as my father used to say. I paid £140 through Ticketmaster. If there is a next time I certainly will not be in the scrum for tix on the first day. I hope my frown goes before next week! Back under my stone in Mugsville

Loved the show! Great value set! Still was a rubbish view for the money. My highlights were many but Temp Sec and Hi,Hi,Hi and seeing Paul arrive in his car was incredible. Daughter danced in the isle all concert. Limpics forgiven.
